I can confirm that this News is fake and quite malicious. Dr Olumide was a wonderful person and a personal friend who suffered from protracted health problem; he does not deserve irresponsible blog reports. Dr Olumide studied Agricultural Science at the university of Bologna, he was not a medical doctor. He had slight fever and was advised to stay home in line with a general directives from the authorities. His body was found in a position that suggested cardiac arrest. His daughter lives in far away Tuscany region from Emilia Romagna. I was even contacted by a person trying to reach her after discovering the lifeless body of her father. Virus infection was never confirmed but health officials only said that autopsy would be carried out to this effect.
As our Ghana friends would put it: all die na die, yet the truth must be said about the cause of every death.
R.I.P Dr Olumide Okunuga Suraju.

Bless you for this. People have become so irresponsible with news. Social media is fast becoming an epidemic itself that needs to be curtailed.

May Dr Olumide's soul rest in peace.

Is Callum Hodson-Odoi not black, or Eliaquim Mangala. Just stay as safe as you can. Adhere to all the basic hygiene protocols and pray for the best

Idiot. Callum recovered after less than 2 days.

The guy had flu man.

Forget white media.

When is Nigeria going to shut down for this pandemic to pass on. It appears everyone else is making efforts to buy time by restricting movement. What is the matter with this country. Why are we always reactionary towards crime, towards insurgency, towarsd economic challenges and now towards this pandemic. Are we waiting to be hit hard before acting. Just do not understand the kind of leadership we have here.

The leadership comes from the people my friend. How do you understand the leadership without understanding the people. Have you ever seen a cow give birth to a lion?

190m people that produces next to nothing! Nothing! Just eating and ffking....lying, dishonest, cheating, lazy, faking, indolent, lawless etc etc! And you expect good leadership from the same people?

These guys are heroes. The medical profession is no doubt, one of the riskiest trades out there. I rank it next after the Military. These guys are exposed to health hazards on daily basis. Anyways, for CAC Company or Business Name registration, Foundation, Schools, Church, NGO, Trademark, TIN, SCUMI, NAFDAC number etc, talk to us at www. Lawlab. Com. ng. We pray for the repose of their souls.

You said we're exposed to health hazards on daily basis, yet ranked it next to the Military.

If people choose to behave themselves, there'll be no war, but health is a different thing entirely. Heck some diseases aren't even infectious, they're Congenital, and yet doctors have to labour to fix it.

As a soldier, there is always a war going on somewhere, officially or unofficially. Nigeria is battling the Boko Haram, Niger delta militants, bandits etc. If there is no war ongoing in your country, chances are that your leaders would still send you to a war zone in the name of peace keeping. Going to war is a matter of life and death. It is a definitive. You kill or be killed, it is as simple as that. Most times, you are not given a second chance nor even allowed time to say your goodbyes. Apart from going to war, members of the armed forces are seen as first targets by criminals, from the petty maggi and goat thief down to the bank rober. They would first neutralize the soldier before proceeding with an operation. Joining the army is perceived as signing your death warrant sort of. Don't misunderstand me, the medical profession is one risky business but if I am to choose the riskiest between the two, I would choose the military anyday anytime, twice on a Tuesday morning.
