seunmohmoh: Didn't want to say anything initially but... 1. Missing exams or appointments is part of life. These things happen. Sometimes. 2. Don't go crying yourself to sleep or worrying your head over this. It won't solve a bloody thing. You might end up with a fever. 3. Trying to contact them... Might or might not solve a thing. But there is a fair chance that you might get something out of it. So, give it a shot. No effort is ever wasted. Although I remain skeptical. 4. From now on, imbibe the spirit of scouting and identifying. Always try to carry out a little recce whenever you are posted to a particular place or venue for any event/occasion- be it an examination or a party. 5. If the exam doesn't get rescheduled... then simple. Breathe in breathe out. Get a glass. Fill it to the brim with water and drink it up to the last drop. But before you do that, make sure you make a toast to your next attempt at UTME. And do make a solemn promise to yourself never to make such a mistake again given a second cracking at this same examination. ...provided your folks aren't breathing down your neck already. 2 Likes |

spiceadole:Very correct. Even now there are some still focused ones around. There is someone writing in same ogun state, residing in Lagos that sent her younger brother to locate her venue 3 days before the exam. Then on d actual date they still travelled together, early on d morning though her exam was by 1pm. Even some focused people with venue same state locate the venue days before. That was how it used to be. But now some of them are just something else. 2 Likes |

I sat for jamb exam three times before a got admission in the higher institution. And on those 3 occasions, I went to my jamb centers like 24 before the exam to confirm my exam centre. And also on the day of the exam, I made sure I was at my centre like 1 hour before the exam. My sister, you aren't the serious type to be sincere. Because in South West, you have two schools bearing almost the same name, but in different locations. An example is Community High School, Itire and Community Grammar School, Itire. 1 Like |

seunmohmoh: Since 2014... Why do I get the feeling that you are already giving up on the whole JAMB thing? It seems your mind is no longer in that thing... You might not know it, but[our minds] works that way sometimes. You definitely need something to boost your "morale". Or else... You should know the rest. You're welcome though. |

LordAzubuike: Guy chill... she has made the mistake already. No need bashing her like that. Infact, some nigerians are so silly to the core. This ur attitude will discourage folks who need advice from u becos u are a bad adviser. To the op, sometimes we make mistakes wen we are naive and do not ask questions at the right time. In this ur case, it's likely a combination of naivety and over confidence. And I think this is your first jamb experience. My advice is this, prepare for the next jamb or if you can't wait then gear up for JUPEB program. Find out more about the Jupeb program if you are interested |

seunmohmoh: Please and please and please! Do the following: 1. Go to the venue for the exams (which you should have done irrespective of how late it was) 2. Explain to them. 3. Beg and cry 4. Cry and beg. 5. They will heed your pleas. 6. Before you do number 1, pray! 7. Don't forget to give all glory to God. 1 Like |
