Good! God bless these Igbo men and women that embarked on this VERY SMART MOVE!! Unknown to many, this petition is what is called checkmate in the game of chess. Now, the implication of this petition include: 1. Putting a stop to the scam that would only stupendously enrich a few politicians without achieving its objective. 2. Making it clear to China that SE and Igbos are not going to benefit from it and thus should not be expected to be among those that would pay it back, either now or in the future, especially as Nigeria's future as a country is shaky. 3. If or when Nigeria breaks up, the Igbo areas would not be held liable to pay back or participate in paying back. 4. This petition would be used as an alibi that Igbos warned them prior to given out the loan that they would not be part of it. 5. The petition would also serve as an awareness/warning to them that there is a high chance that the loan would be stolen by those asking for it. 6. Alongside protests by a prominent Igbo senator, in the person of Abaribe, that the loan is both unnecessary and fraught with dangers, posterity will be on the side of Igbos when the consequences of the loan starts to hit the country hard as it would definitely do. 7. Our democratic nature as Igbos is one of the strongest reasons why I know that Biafra will not only survive but will be a model African state. Once again, God bless these men and women of Goodwill who are speaking out. 144 Likes 19 Shares |

I thought the mumu govt has abandoned the loan based on 'current economic realities'. Useless government, borrowing to fund white elephant projects. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Oil producing country borrowing to finance capital projects. My problem is not the loan but different shell companies that will be floated to siphon funds through contract awards. Project will be abandoned and children of the masses will be made to service debt through bogus tax arrangement. Nigeria should wake up. 40 Likes 3 Shares |

It was so sad of the federal govt to take loans of $22bn and just a section of the country benefits from it. These things sometimes gives room for agitations and before you know it, alot of Easteners would become sympathetic to Biafra. Make this nation Inclusive enough for all to feel belong. PS: Justice must not only be served but must be SEEN to be served. 61 Likes 4 Shares |

The Chinese should bear it in mind that once that loan is given to Nigeria, in the nearest future after Nigeria's breakup, the igbos won't repay a loan they didn't benefit from. Nobody does that.
