so that's not something serious

You talk as if such ineptitude can take place in the US up till now we have few test kits available amidst the claim to have used 1.6B naira already in managing corona virus and the president still haven't addressed Nigerians
unlike what other worldleaders are doing

infact government had to wait for his daughter to return from US on the 19th prior the border closure...as if the lives of the rest Nigerians does not matter.

I won't take you much serious because you live in a civilized country you have no idea of how over crowded Lagos, Abuja and kano city look like....

I have no idea how Lagos is crowded?? Or Kano? I was not born abroad, oga and i visited Nigeria 3 years ago.

Even with the border closure, Nigerians can still come in but they will be put under mandatory supervised isolation for 14 days. It does not stop Nigerians from flying in. It only stops foreigners. Read the guidelines.

CBN has released an economic stimulus fund. too..

I pray, it does not spread in Nigeria.

compare the economic stimulus funds to others palliative measures introduced by other world economics.

you seems to be an apologistz of this government.

so you think those who have been walking into the country all this while from high risk countries have been quarantined

if you've been to Lagos and others then you will know fast the virus will spread in Nigeria ... even up till now test kits are not randomly available and the fund being made available by CBN even kids knows that money will be embezzled in the speed of light.

even a sincere supporter of this government knows their ineptitude
would have take you serious had it been you were among the many in Lagos or Abuja who constantly ply public transport daily and others

even the US government address it's citizens every now and then and even shared the sum of $1 Trillion for her citizens
even Zimbabwe closed her borders long prior now despite not recording any corona virus case yet

but here the president still haven't addressed the citizens after leaving the border opened up till today and still selecting the countries to ban currently 15 forgetting that this Europeans with EU passports can leave from with their country passports from some other countries to Africa.

The virus has been in Lagos for about 3 weeks now,but it hasn't spread as fast as we expected... Just like in the case of Ebola..
Lagos might be a crowded city, but it's residents aren't stupid and uncivilised.... They know how to protect themselves during times like this...

I am not a fan of this government and i am fully aware of how quickly, it can spread in Nigeria. I still have many family members in Nigeria so it scares me.

However, the response of the agencies has been fair. That's the point.

I feel you just like critizing the goverment the virus has been in the country for 3 weeks now and it still controlled,

Am sure you saw the video safari girl shared where WHO was commending Nigeria as one of the Country who has managed it well since it index case.
Our Health system might be poor but with the little resources wr have done well. Like Tbaba said the only mistake was closing the boarders late

Will the 'wise' and 'civilized' residents of Lagos refuse to board Danfo buses?

I remember how buses shuttling Obalende to Oworo would squeeze five persons on a seat.

The virus loves rowdiness. The more overcrowded a community is the higher the risk.

Lagos is at high risk.

Bros Nigeria confirmed 5 new cases on the 18th and 4 cases on the 19th.

How does a disease spread?

12 cases in total...

Some countries with lesser population than Nigeria and cities not as crowded as Lagos have recorded far more cases... South Africa for instance has over 200 cases...
Nigeria was the first country in sub Saharan Africa to confirm a covid-19 case, but the rate of infection so far has been minimal... We aren't perfect, but we are certainly doing better than most countries...

Some people are better left the way they are..

Asome people are born to be attackers and wailers.. its mature to leave them to their fate, nature and destiny.

If you think the government isn't doing anything right to curb the virus.. then your eyes has been blindfolded to only see negatives in this administration and no miracle can change your views or thinking..

So happy wailing and gnashing of teeth

In terms of addressing citizens, I don’t think it’s a Buhari problem. Our leaders are not held accountable and they can get away with such lapses. It’s a statematic issue. There is a certain standard here in the US, plus this is an election year. No point for the comparisons. No be today.

As regards the said trillions, until I receive my check, Na just talk talk lol

I think there is still a lot to learn about covind-19. Is it possible that the spread is less in warmer regions? If you are going to give this government some credits, what is the government doing specifically and differently that has led to less cases in Nigeria? At least be substansive. I’m am assuming you are relying merely on statistics.

For one thing, they have traced most of the contacts of the index patient and isolated them... . Those coming in from highly affected areas are being quarantined too... Agreed they closed the borders too late, but it's better late than never..

Forget about the warm theory... Have u seen the statistics for Burkina Faso and Senegal ?

I’m not relying on the warm theory which is why it had a question mark.
If that’s what they have been doing differently from agencies of other countries, let’s hope they keep up the good job going forward.
