Aljazeera did a popular documentary on it in 2014 (The french african connection) interviewing French military, political & intelligence officers of that era. The part 2 of the documentary is all about oil & biafra.

France only gave voice support when Biafrans argued to be granted Self- Determination status at United Nation where must of the colonial masters such a Britain argued against it.
