Thank you very much for the view. Is PNP the only route to getting PGWP/PR after completion of masters? Please help clarify.

Abeg make a put an for broken in case of external eyes. Na bicos point no reach for EE na Im push most pipu enter school runs. After d school, if you get work that will add to d points. Den some area dey give provincial nomination once persin don get work for their province. That wan na almost automatic PR bicos Provincial nomination na 600 points.
Now at the present, Ontario no dey give Provincial nomination for skilled workers and post graduate. So even if you finish d school get work, that extra 600 points no dey. Meaning after your one year program, you get 1 year work permit, then you pack ya bag dey go house. Except your points are already strong enough without the extra 600 from provincial nomination.
Compare that with B.C - once persin give you job offer, you can get their provincial nomination and PR don set be dat.

Thank you so much Dear,
I have created account to use the online route I just thought what I saw was different between paper and online and I was worried my forms will be incomplete.

Ok so I should stick to forms I am seeing in the online route and forget 5483 cos that’s the 19 pages one.

Please forgive my disturbance

Hello Iphiegrace,

You're best assured that you're not disturbing. You should stick to the forms you saw online. The questions you were asked before creating the an account was the questionaire. Please, go on with your application.

Hello house I am a 39 year old man with a family of 5 including myself. I have a Bachelors degree, no Masters or PhD. I also do not speak French. I have a thriving business and sufficient work experience.

With this information, I saw that my chances for express entry to Canada are very slim. Except if there's a way, I'm open to suggestions.

I want to know my chances of getting PR through doing a masters program for myself and my family. My wife has a Masters degree by the way.

Please your responses are eagerly anticipated and highly valued. Thanks.

Hello Ucham,

If your spouse is below 35 and can score (very) high in IELTS with an overall band of at least 7.0 or higher (the higher the score the higher the CRS score), let her be the principal appliacant then she can include her family (you and the children). Also, if she has blood siblings above age 18, this is a plus too.

Another good thing about being in the EE pool is that she can get nominate or apply for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) though there are some conditions to be fulfilled like been skilled in Noc 0, A, B and been able to get an employer in Canada. However, the requirements varies in each provinces. The most suitable provinces to apply to for PNPs are the Atlantic Provinces like Alberta, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Nova Scota and others like Manitiba etc.

If this route(s) might be an hassle or impossibility to you, just focus on the study route.

All the best

Good morning house, how can one track his/her visa application? When I did my biometrics and submitted my passport on 4th March,2020 I was given a tracking ID via sms but no web link was given in the sms. Is there a Web link I can use to track my application? I saw this link online https://www.vfsglobal.ca/IRCC-GPTWave1/Track/Index?q=shSA0YnE4pLF9Xzwon/x/CQ1P0LBKn66dLdNUfueK+yzShCR5+RPxbigEFl/W14/B2caAAJ+pjEGG2r7ohd6rA== but when I entered my details, it says no records found

Hello Priest69,

You should try to link your application online by creating a GcKey online account to get real-life updates.

After completing the msc program, can't someone apply for job outside Ontario, say Manitoba or Alberta. And maybe after getting the job someone can file for pnp in that region.

In other way, after completing the msc program in Ontario, can't someone file for pnp in other region.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 12:39pm On Mar 21, 2020
That’s the point

You can’t

Once you’ve studied in a particular city, you can’t just elope to another. The system doesn’t work like that, as compared to other countries like U.K.

It’s a tough one because people assume that PR is guaranteed once you get there but it’s not as easy as it seems.

Yes of course. But again it depends on the PNP requirement for each province. Some insist that you must have ‘links’ in the province before applying. Like Manitoba I think before PNP you must have shown links there e.g you schooled there or have lived there before. It’s just a matter of doing the research thoroughly sha before making a decision

If you can score very high in IELTS and your profession qualifies you for EE that’s the best route. Even if you choose to go to school after PR it will be at domestic rates

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Adunola20: 6:14pm On Mar 21, 2020
Hello Everyone,
I have been a silent reader since last year. Now, I am preparing to submit my application. I am planning to travel with my two sons and an aunty to help me with their care while I study for my PhD. I will be applying for visitor visa for them.

Has anyone tried applying for a relative like an aunt? If yes, how did he/she go about justifying the reason why she needs to go? I will appreciate tips to increase her chances of being successful.

I know people like Goingforward, MsJu and some others have been successful with their applications with their children. I will be grateful if someone can help me read through my statement of purpose and letter of explanation.

I will really appreciate the help of the gurus in the house.

Thank you.

Hello Mikeerrr,

In addition...

...to an extent you are correct but I think each provinces have their own requirements for PNP with may demand connections with years of study, start or work. Its much easier to relocate to work in other province if being able to secure a job. This is common amongst international students. However, it is difficult to leave a province after getting the PR prior after study, at least not up till some years.

Alberta is one of the province with a flexible PNP requirements.

One love!

Hello

Please how is SOP different from LOE? I have read through the thread and I saw a post where a member said LOE is necessary for re-application and another that said it's addressed to the VO while SOP isn't addressed. I am particular about the content of both, as they look the same to me. Please help clarify this. Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by gentlemate00: 3:00am On Mar 22, 2020
Hello Bro
I need clarification regarding PR. Let say you did a year graduate program from Ontario and decide to do another program, let say graduate diploma or master program from Atlantic province. After the program one can apply for 2-3 years working permit. Does that help in when applying for PR from Ontario to Atlantic province point of view, i mean does help in when applying for PR since you have study in 2 province ( Ontario & Any Atlantic province).

I do know both have pros and cons but main point is PR.
