Hi gurus in the house, I found a school I really like in Belgium, but the mode of instruction is Dutch, now the school said they can offer me a conditional admission, so I can take language classes in a language school for a year, which I’m willing to do, cos i really wanna learn the language, because I feel it will be of great help to me.

Now my question is, what are my chances of securing a language school visa in Nigeria?

Hi,

So I know @fikki1 on this thread applied some years back to Ghent university and he applied separately for a language school as well cause that was the condition for his admission.

He also applied for a study visa directly which he got, not a language visa.

Read his posts on this thread and send him a message maybe he can help

Please does Belgium allow one to stay back after masters studies?

Unfortunately they don't have any permits for you to stay back after your program to look for a job. As the study permit expires you have to leave.

But you can search for job offers during your last year and if you receive one, a work permit will be processed OR continue with a PhD.

Thanks, but hope it's not too difficult securing a job there?
Which kind of jobs are more common for graduates?
And hope the work permit isn't too complicated?

Thank you.

Yes I did.
To answer your question,
You have to apply to your school and get the normal admission. The provisional admission given to you by the school will be used to apply to language school. So basically you will be given two admission letters from Belgium.

1. For your normal course (3 years or 4)
2. Admission letter for Language course(UCT).

Note: you have to do interview for the Language admission to be given and it’s just English language test, to check if you can understand properly and speak properly, which you have passed already, since you are communicating here on NL.

I HAVE NOT BEEN REPLYING ON NL BASE ON THE FACT THAT MY FRIEND AND BROTHER IS GIVEN RESPONSE ALREADY (KONJA44).

@others, you doing great Job.
God Bless you all

Stay safe..

Can I use sponsor in Nigeria as means of sustainance?
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by konja44: 10:22am On Mar 14, 2020
Yes you can. But make sure he or she earns about €2000 every month. It is advisable to use a sponsor from abroad to make things easier

No idea. But he this company must be registered.. Proof of tax etc will be ask.. This is complicated. This is why it is advisable to use someone on monthly salary as they can easily assess his or her income.

Please I need your help everyone

I got Partial Flemish Scholarship in Belgium with monthly stipend of 680 euros.

I also need to pay 3600 euros. The tution is actually 15000 euros but reduced to 3600 euros due to scholarship.

I contacted the school if I can make payment by 2 installment but they said no

I need to pay everything by March 31st

I have raised 2200 euros already.

I need help in seeking student loan that can be deducted directly from my stipends.

I have tried with some Belgium banks but said the 680 euros monthly pay is below the requirements for loan

Anyone here who can guide me on what to do

Time is running against me

Thanks

I think it is 300 naira per document. Please check @victorsol's previous posts, he mentioned some things about that.
