CoronaVirusRelo: There's nothing scam about it. The real scam sef is the fact that many more have the virus and we're not being told. I estimate that more than a hundred persons have the virus and the figures we are seeing are not a true reflection of the severity in naija. Stay safe. Corona virus no be scam. It is real and it has landed in naija 16 Likes 2 Shares |

As Naijans, the battle has arrived. The aliens/spirits are here. God has given us every resources for this threat, one of those resources is science mixed with natural resources. Oge/time dun land, so we have to step up to the plate. Document the characteristics of your sickness, keep it in the open ie not hidden; Engineers should focus on the instruments of treatments and instruments of detections; Biochemist, biology, chemistry, herbalist, etc should focus on the drugs, Politicans should focus on organizing the populace that are helping or need help. Good luck Naijans, may the good Lord see us through these times, even to a non side effect vaccine. |

This non-proactive, senseless Governor is useless and hopeless. Do you expect a sane, responsible young leader of Makinde's age to organise a political rally that has thousands of people squeezed in an event centre with other thousands of helpless masses seen densely thronging in the open space around the venue. Many of their guests, including the musician, are returnees from the high risk countries. Oyo State is not prepare for the pandemic. Going through his press release on Fridày he only accepted responsibility for the stupidity, with promises that the COVID-19 task force would get things ready in the next 72 hours. He did not outrightly ban social and religious gatherings stating religious leaders are at liberty to employ preventive measure. Would a sensible governor leave serious matter like this to the initiatives of religious or social leaders, or simply give stern instructions with serious penalties for violators? Here is a confirmed case barely 24 hours without a prepared, ready-for-use isolation centre at Olodo. I am beginning to reason with other people and residents of Oyo State who hold the view that Makinde is simply an audio governor. 19 Likes 1 Share |
