I think market should be closed because lowkey, there's already an outbreak in Lagos.

Covid19 will be very difficult to control in Lagos cus the place is overcrowded.

I was in Lagos yesterday. I was just thinking of different scenarios... If you see people

My advice
Protect yourself as much as you can. God help us

Every case of this virus that was recorded in this country are avoidable ,but due to the irresponsive of this irresponsible government . When countries are closing their borders, ours is opening camp . By now all our borders should have been closed ,all schools closed (especially primary schools ),medical team on red alert .God will help us and let all us be careful . We should all remember that prevention is better and cheaper than cure .
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MOTHERS ALL OVER THE WORLD . NON OF YOU WILL CRY OVER YOUR CHILDREN IN JESUS CHRIST NAME .

This whole coronahoax is just a test run to see what they can get away with. Judging by the peoples reactions so far....the deep state has us by the short and curlies. And they know it.

ever heard of H1N1. It was 100 times worse and no one noticed. This virus is real but the severity of the situation has been blown way out of proportion for political reasons. The constitution was too much trouble and needed to be scrapped. They have succeeded.

Crazy world we are living in right now. Almost makes you wonder if something else isn’t brewing while everyone is preoccupied with this Coronavirus.

That is precisely what all of us should be thinking. Coronavirus isn't what it seems; the timing is too convenient and the numbers don't wash. Follow the timeline, the locations, places most affected, and you'll start to see the picture. Some of it is connected to the Epstein/Weinstein/Clinton/Winfrey (YES! WINFREY) sex-trafficking ring. Weinstein was recently sentenced to 55 years for perving on CONSENTING women and his sentence was reduced to 23 years as the result of a plea deal. Following his sentencing, several billionaire CEO's have resigned and multiple celebrities and politicians have suddenly "contracted the virus." There will be more resignations, more sudden (and convenient) celebrity/politician infections in an effort to save face. 600 people were recently arrested in a sex trafficking/corruption investigation that has spanned nearly 20 years. On the other side of the coin, the data doesn't add up. We have no way to confirm the number of infections and deaths the media is reporting. Just as China has completely manufactured the nature of the virus and their recovery, the government and media are deliberately fabricating the number of infections and deaths to push for a "vaccine" that will actually cause more sickness and death than their supposed virus (which wasn't a virus). Understand this: the vaccine is the actual goal, not curbing the virus. The media is deliberately strewing the data and drumming up public hysteria to push this goal forward. Do some research on 5G frequencies and their effect on the human body, and you'll see China's "virus." Wake up, people. We are witnessing one of the largest scale False Flag psy-ops we've seen in decades. More than 50,000 die from influenza each year and the media is completely silent yet, the entire nation is facing imminent lockdown and the media is pimping hysteria non-stop over a virus with a 98% recovery rate, with zero evidence to support their data. If you're not smelling something fishy by now, you need your heads examined. Stop listening to the media. Turn off your tv, put down the phone, and stop falling for the lie we're being fed. It's NOT a pandemic!

We will pull through this too as we have always been pulling through one disease or the other ever since we were born.
We pulled through Lassa fever, Ebola, Bird flu, Monkey pox etc. Even some of our grandparents pulled through Malaria, Smallpox and other deadly diseases of their days. Human races have pulled through Spanish Influenza, Marburg virus, Rabies, Hantavirus, Dengue Virus, Rotavirus, MERS-COV, SARS-COV and thousands others before and after the two major religions of the world came to stay. So please let no one panic and be shouting end time or end of the world, because diseases and sicknesses have always been on Earth from the very start of humanity. The presence of viruses and bacteria bring diseases, not the sign of a god of one religion coming to end the world.
People who sang END OF THE WORLD in the 14th century because of Spanish Influenza which infected 500 million people worldwide (one-fourth of the whole world in those days) and also killed 50 million people know better now that the world has still not ended despite the alarming casualties. So stop panicking, human race is here to stay. We just have to follow science and take precautions rather than follow religion which is nothing but useless in handling health issues.

RELIGIONS OFFER ONLY AUDIO SOLUTIONS!!!

Our government is very irresponsible. I kept shouting here for them to learn from what is going on in Europe, but they refused. See how the number keeps climbing daily.
The reason we have not yet started recording deaths from this thing is that our health care workers are not yet overwhelmed.
Is only a matter of time. And I hope this thing gets to those foolish leaders that refused to take drastic measures on time.

If the news house will be well detailed enough you will discover they came in from overseas. What can we do now than to take preventive measures and stick to God our Jehovah Rapha. Nigeria will be healed of this deadly virus. We shall conquer and see the end of the virus. Please let's avoid social gathering and reduce mixing with people for now. I have even decided as a man I will not go to the barbing saloon till this whole thing is over. Stock up food and avoid markets and supermarkets. When you buy stuffs sanitize them before keeping them inside because many hands have touched them. I pray no member of nairaland will die of this virus. Stay safe all please.

Seems like some people here are happy about the rise on the covid-19 cases in Nigeria. I don’t see posts on new research breakthroughs.
Stop creating panic. We will not be able to handle the panic we are creating. Too many homeless and hungry people in this country. UK citizens have created a mutual group where they reach out to other of their citizens, giving hope to one another. What can we do as individuals to help stop the spread shld be paramount instead of this panic. God help us

Just having this reserved sentiments that this is a looting scam by Nigeria's State and Federal Government.

Every Governor almost claiming the virus is in their state and by the time they release how much they spent on this cases, many will collapse.

Anyways... Safety first even though their are high chances that it's a scam.

So as earlier suspected by some, the number of people infected in Nigeria might be quite high?
If you are reading this, pls make effort to stay safe, you and those around you.
COVID19 pandemic is not here to stay,it will surely pass, but may none reading this not be affected by it.

BTW
-Wash hands with disinfectant or use sanitizer regularly, especially after being exposed to an individual or environment outside your home
-Do not shake hands
-As much as possible avoid crowdy areas and unnecessary close contact with people you are not sure of their contacts in past two to four weeks
-Drink lots of water
-Quickly check-in into a hospital when you notice combination of dry cough, weakness of the body, headache, fever.
May we all make it through this period.

We had enough time to take precautionary measures, but we were playing politics with it. Close to border ! Close the border! ! We were dragging

I am happy there is no where to run to. No UK, no USA, no where to run to.

We are all in this together, how are they going to hide in their houses.

It is obvious the reported is far more higher than what is officially reported
