Angryiboman post should be the wall paper for this thread. Both newbies and oldies can learn a lot from his post.

I really dont see how someone who wants to achieve something in life will say Bolt is better than Uber? In what dimension are you living?

PRO TIP : when I was driving, I only use bolt trips for cash to run uber..cos I love uber card trips. It's the surest way you can see atleast 25k in your account every monday. Try that on bolt.

The kind of people you will meet on Uber you can never meet on Bolt.

My own opinion.

Nope.... They are all the same. I keep saying all riders have both apps now. And can switch depending on surge price, network glitch, app responsiveness and nearest possible driver.

Last year i picked Liz benson on bolt.
This month, i picked Jonny Drille on bolt, from mavin studio at ajose Adeogun. Last Sunday i picked Victor AD and his manager on bolt.

Two days ago i picked a rider from vgc going to ayobo... I jokingly told him i will leave him and run away if i see bad roads.... We laughed he said only the road to his house is quite bad, that he will add to anything the app calculates. And he said he will call me to come do same trip and offer me mouth watering price i wouldn't resist.

Fare. 7100, guy transfered 10k to me instantly.
Are those people not nice and cool too? Bolt ooo

Na so I carry one white American lady and her Nigerian husband from Mega Plaza to Surulere yesterday. They were coughing and sneezing all through. They had serious running nose. With my face mask and hand sanitizer in my car, I was not comfortable, I had to off the AC and wind down. They started pleading and assuring me that they don't have the virus and they haven't travelled outside the country for a longtime. They kept telling me I shouldn't panic that it is just a common flu. At a time I wanted to politely end the trip somewhere safe for them to order another one. But from what they said I had to summon the courage to get them to their destination.
In a nutshell may be a rider complained about you having exhibited symptoms of Covid 19 during a trip. Thats why they blocked your account. I think blocking of account shouldn't be drivers only. Riders are even the major threat to spreading this disease. Complaints on riders should also be taken into consideration.

Some part of oshodi is classified under Ikeja, like that Army Market, Ketu ends at Magodo, Mushin can b ilupeju, Apapa can b orile/ Ebutte, but ask if the spirit lead. Like a day ard 6pm, I got a request and it display surulere, I didn't ask, just drove down, rider was even buzzing me to hurry up with endless calls, only to start trip and saw suru-alaba. I didn't mix my words, sorry ma'am I can't go to this location by this time of the day.

Inbtw: please take note of riders on keffi junction this is the second time I'm picking someone and won't get my money on same spot. Here is the guy number 0808 819 0765, I pick him up from Awolowo rd to bishop aboyode Cole, we chat all thru and was even sharing different opinion, it was so easy for me to allow transfer, not knowing they will b part 2 to the story.

Pls y’all in the house; I intend buying a Corolla 2005 or 2008 for Uber and Taxify in Lagos. I intend driving it myself. I want to know if it is feasible to make 15-20k daily after fuel and expenses in Lagos.
OR rather how much is feasible?

2. I am a UK returnee, came back this year. I don’t know my way around Lagos at all; is it possible for me to drive effectively using the map?

3. What are the guidelines and advise so that I don’t fall into the hands of thieves, LASTMA etc.

I want to enter into this venture so as not to deplete my savings as I try to stabilise myself in the country.

Thanks, pls candid advice

Sir, if you don't mind, I'll advise you read this thread from page 1000.

I know it's bulky, but you'll learn from other people's experiences. That's the best way to enlighten yourself

And No, you can't make 20k daily after fuel and other expenses

Hope the LHD and RHD won't affect you? Welcome

Your friend lied sir, except maybe during December as I've only made such amount once during one crazy friday/Saturday i drove almost the whole day. And if you can't read from page 1000 as izzou suggested you can alternatively follow LuxuryDriverNg /Driverprenure on YouTube, watch All his videos as that's what I did mostly. Stay Safe out there sir.

This corona really affect business. Did only 3 online trips and one olosho offline trip since 8-am. Just drove to Alpha beach to chill since 4pm. Make i go house. Better days ahead

ok) i hope so, if i may ask, when did you carry these couple? i really dont understand why they will have common cold flu in our hot weather

medical test at the early stage does not detect covid 19 that is why they want people to self isolate then call for help when they starts showing symptoms, some people can have it without showing symptoms and then spread it to others unknowingly.

20k * 6 days= #120k

120k * 4 weeks= #480,000

Let's say you don't touch 400k. It means you'll buy a new car every 5 months

Can you see that your friend is lying. If it was that easy, nobody would be on rentals grin

You can make 20k gross(Fuel and expenses included), but you'll really drive for long hours. Lagos is not that big, but traffic wears drivers out alot
