Here in Mauritius, 4th day of total lock down.. Essential items becoming expensive.. Queuing up for hours to get access to mall.. Lock down for two weeks.. Hopefully, we pray it's shouldn't be more than that. But more cases are been recorded.... We already rationing food.

Well, working in health sector, we have to go to work amidst the lockdown.

Anyways, I show my ID if stopped to prove I'm in essential services.

I wear a half face ski mask when going to the store to shop for basic items , I shower with detol soap as it offers 24hrs protection and it's active ingredient is anti viral. Working in the Frontline you have to protect yourself anyhow.

I wash my hands like 20 times a day at work and sanitise afterwards.

Upon entering the hospital they check your vitals and log it in a book. They monitor you especially temperature wveryday in the event you show symptoms you are isolated and the coronavirus hotline is called.

Our admissions have been reduced, visitors have been banned and patients have been educated on what to expect after their discharge into the real world.

So far, we have witnessed no incidences and God will make it remain that way until this all blows over.

Amazon had to beg their workers for overtime...I think they have double their pays too but it's risky out there for their workers..I pray for all our Nigerian people working overtime to gather something despite risking their lives in dis delicate period.

We are coping just fine. I work from home. It gets annoying not moving around much but it is what it is.
Its comforting to know that at least there are measures put in place in case we fall sick.
Functioning hospitals
Functioning drugs
Ambulances
Health workers who know what they are doing

You better stay at home jeje and don't put your trust on functioning hospitals
Your eye go clear if you get severe disease. Na then you go know say khaki no be leather.
In the UK, decisions are being made on who to put on ventilators and who should be denied. Yes, its beginning to spread like wildfire there. Their A/E is overwhelmed already and it will only get worse if people don't sit their ass down and stop moving around.
I learnt another country, whether na italy is denying those over 60years ventilators because it's just not enough to go round.
Infact, I have a headache now, and can only hope it's not Corona. I hope that even if it is, it will be the mild form of the disease.

I am in my studio apartment. I work in IT so I can work from home. The major grocery store in my area cut its hours down and its first hour of opening each day is for people over 60 to be able to get supplies first. I just started ordering groceries from home. I'm trying as much as possible to order everything online. I'm quiet anyway so staying indoors more isn't too much of an issue for me personally. I'm in manhattan so it's cray cray out here more than other parts of the us right now, constant sirens; i guess ambulances are picking people up. Stocked up on health supplies and foods, garlic, ginger, vitamic c, mutlivitamins, sage, etc. Also have antibiotics handy because of the risk of secondary infections, and just ordered chloroquine, piriton and azithromycin to have with me just in case. As far as mentally, no problems there, not unhealthily bothered

Reporting from Manitoba. Our Premier declared a state of emergency yesterday for the Province. Just 20 confirmed cases of the COVID but no one is taking chances.

In fact, I have been home for a week now and it seems it will remain so till April ending...and I'm tired of home already! We are still allowed to go to grocery stores, pharmacies etc. but many are working from home while some still go to work. Schools are closed and lectures are online.

It was weird doing church service online yesterday as a gathering of 50 or more people has been officially banned for the next 28 days or so in my Province or you risk 6 months jail or $50K bail.

When the virus outbreak started in Canada at Ontario, people here were still going about their normal business. I also was still going to work. The day a case was confirmed in Manitoba and by evening, it turned to three...oh boy, that was when panic started and people started buying food and toilet paper in bulk. I got to the grocery stores after work that Thursday and couldn't find toilet paper or hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol or face mask! I had to buy hand wash. The funny thing is the whites were more panicked in my opinion than we Nigerians here probably because the latter believe in God. Oyinbo no wan die oh.

You go to a grocery store now and you see someone walking beside you, adorned in mask and gloves, giving you one kind look like you are a COVID suspect. I also will return the look sef. Who knows who is carrying it?

Psalm 91:10 is my sure word though.

Here in Vancouver Canada, schools, offices, banks all events are shutdown.

Everyone on self isolation. Cases are been reported and the authorities here are working hard.

I urge Nigerians to support the govt of the day in the fight against the Convid _19, the virus is a respected of no man.

Nigerians should stop spreading news that leads to panic, stop abusing your govt, rather support and encourage the govt efforts.

Here in Canada, there much cases which the media do not even report, there are lots of flaws here by the govt yet the citizens never abuse or castigated there govt nor go online spreading lots.

Should the virus enter Nigeria everyone will feel the effect both the rich and poor.

A word is enough for the wise.

Why is bank and stores shut down?.. What if I need money to buy essentials
