My baby will be 4months by this week Thursday, he has been stooling which is greenish in colour I was told by people around that its teething.
I got teething powder, that has reduced but what baffles me now is he doesn't want to eat.

Most time I tried to give him breastmilk he will decline, he is taking Nan1, since Saturday he has refused to take it. He is loosing weight already.

I don't know what to do so he can eat.

Please help.

We are on the second tin of formula now, and I noticed that for some days now, she poops while eating, it's normally when she is almost full and it's a bit watery.. I don't know if I need to worry or go to the hospital. It happens at every feed.

You can try cerelac and pap... I use Nutribon, pap and cerelac for my baby. She loves spaghetti, fried egg, boiled egg yolk, and other adult food... For cereal, she takes it only when she's very hungry if not, I'll end up taking it.... I tried mashed food and they all ended up in the bin.
Every child is different though and also, you'll have to be patient to be able to get what they'll love..... Also check the type of cerelac you're getting. I recently got vegetables mixed with rice cerelac for my baby and it's making her purge but your kids might not react to it (it's for 7mnths old please). In all, just be patient and you'll get what they want.

He can eat it like that, just don't give him too much or more than once a day. make it beans and yam or beans and fried plantain.

Maybe her tummy just feels very full and she needs relieve. It's normal.Definitely not something to go to hospital over.

Mama please get Nan1 for your baby to feed on from this morning. Hopefully you'll start lactating very soon and you'll stop the formular immediately you start breastfeeding him.
That was what I did. Because I also didn't lactate till the 4th day after delivery and since then he hasn't taken formula till now. We'll be 6 months very soon.

Please don't deprive the poor baby food o

Get him nan1 or any formula immediately and feed him pls. Continue putting him to breast, when you start lactating you can decide to breastfeed exclusively.

Abeg exclusive breastfeeding does not mean you will now wait till you get breastmilk before you feed your child. You can start exclusive at anytime if your supply and baby allows.

Sorry about your pains mama. Most times when you stop cold turkey style, the pain is very much. Some mamas recommend putting a leaf of cabbage in the fridge and placing it inside your bra. You can try this. Either ways the pain should be much reduced within a week.

I want to charter a car for myself and her to travel to another state for some time because the one we live in presently is having issues with corona/covid19.

Is it safe to do an 8hr trip with a ten day old baby? Has anyone here done that before?

Since you will charter the car, I think it will do. My baby was 10 days old when we made a journey of over 2hrs. I know a woman that made a journey of up to 7hrs two days after her baby was born.
First, you have to make sure baby is comfortable and well covered.

As for me, I stopped peeling beans.. I give him the one we eat just reduce the pepper, and he eats everything else we eat

Just continue to put the baby to breast.... it will flow soon....but for the main time, u can give baby nan1....but always put the baby to breast all the time.....milk must come out well

Good day mamas.My DS will be 6 months soon,am thinking of starting pap for him.But a nurse told me that i should soak millet,guinea corn and yellow corn for some days and the day i will grind it i shld add 2 cups of raw groundnut and 2 cups of soya beans and take it to the mill to grind all together and fliter.But i want to verify from who ever has done pap with this method.Pls if you have other less stress ful method pls i will like to learn.Thanks.

All these additions all at once is too much in my opinion for a baby just starting solid. Introduce it one at a time just so you know if your baby is reacting to any the grains. Some children react seriously to groundnut while some don't. So think about it
