Adamawa Unable To Pay March Salary, N32,000 Minimum Wage Due To COVID-19 by Tiola1: 6:02am On Mar 25, 2020
The Adamawa Government has said due to the economic crunch imposed by the effects of COVID-19 pandemic, it is unable to pay March salary.

In a press statement signed by the governor’s Director of Communication and Media, Mr Solomon Kumangar said the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the government from paying the consequential adjustment of the national minimum wage agreed upon and duly signed with the joint trade unions.

The statement further said that the government is committed to paying the consequential adjustment with the backlog/arrears as soon as COVID-19 and its negative economic implications abate.

“It should be noted that the government decided on this and other cost-saving measures to enable it to undertake basic services.

“Finally, the government assures that the welfare of the workforce remains paramount and the centrepiece of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s cardinal agenda,” the statement said

Its just the beginning,I’ve no idea where they are going to get money to pay salary now that oil is 26$ per barrel
They couldn’t pay 18.000 naira minimum wage when oil was $35 now you are expecting them to pay 30.000 naira when oil is 26$

Coronavirus putting the whole world on LOCKDOWN.

How do they expect the civil servants of the state to be able to stay indoor and eat with no salary?

God heal Nigeria.
God heal the world.

We wish no evil befall any of the innocent citizens,
only our corrupt past and present politicians, anyone of them that looted, raped and stole from our National treasury to take our nation many years backward,
they won't escape it, only if they returned all they have stolen.
And if you are here supporting any of these politicians that raped and looted our nation (or collecting any form of money to launder their images both online and offline).....repent NOW before what will befall them come looking for you.

MYHUBBY:

you better don't wish evil against Buhari and Abba kyari because that prayer is for them
If it so, just simply say Amen and stop sounding like an Hypocrite.
We would have been the first person to say Amen to such prayers if we have your mindset.
Don't be annoying please.
We don't like what we dislike biko.

Say AMEN or scroll to the next post if you are scared on saying Amen for Coronavirus to hit the people that looted and destroyed our darling nation abegii

French revolution of 1789 is inevitable in Nigeria. Although it might not going to happen in this generation but we are looking forward to that.

Covid 19 that is about two months in Nigeria is the reason salary cannot be paid. All these states that are not viable. Dissolve the state and merge with other States.

This is inevitable. Where will they get money? All these NNPC, FIRS & private company staff too will soon receive pay cut. If ur company is locked down & not making money, it's inevitable.

Even if you have plenty savings, markets/ supermarkets could close. Dts why I say stock up now dt you still have access to salary & market o.

Civil servant supposed to be placed on half salary from this month after the payment of their arrears and if this thing bites harder their should be a reduction in all their allowances since most of them are at home now. This does not exempt the governor and other political office holders. This is a time for us to make sacrifice. Money should be used to start stockpiling foods, drugs, etc to ease the effect of the lock down on the masses.

Pls, don't quote me negatively on this. We are in our trying period, this is not like June 12 crisis, this is a battle between man and a deadly various. If we join hand together, this will fee over within a month.
