Dont be deceived. Cases of corona in Nigeria are by now well over 1 million. what we are getting are the official figures and the official figures are based on testing. The thing is that to be tested you must have symptoms otherwise they wont test you. 1 person will infect 3 people in a day meaning that in 1 week that in fected person has spread the infection to over 8000 people most of whom will not know they are infected. |

Kwanza:The logic is, the virus will get to a level high before it become flattened, Don't panic with the numbers , it is meant to be so. China attain a record high and they are getting better now.. Italy on the other. hand is also getting better but slowly . there must be more recorded case to ascertain our safety. |

The numbers are growing. China erected a 1000 bed hospital to cater for the numbers. What are we doing to cater for our growing numbers?? How many ventilators do we have in the isolation centres? What is the bed capacity of the Lagos and Abuja centres. What is the plan to increase the capacities? How robust is our contact tracing? How do we know that the people advised to self isolate are actually doing so? How many test centres do we have? How easy is it for someone to get a test done? Are their adequate test kits? This is how South Korea battled theirs: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/23/world/asia/coronavirus-south-korea-flatten-curve.html#click=https:///AjXJlSjYOB Govt, NCDC act fast now. 1 Like |

"Both Travellers returning in the last 7 days"!!! Dear average Nigerians, stay as far away as you can from any returnee or close associates of returnees!!! This is not a drill!!! I repeat, STAY THE FVCK AWAY FROM THEM!!! These people in conjunction with the government have taken it upon themselves to ruin this nation... See how distracted we have all become from the more pressing national issues... 70 soldiers perished yesterday, and no one is even making phim about it... Everyone is busy waiting on NCDC for the next countdown or update!!!... I pity most Nigerians!!! |

Oh lawd!.. They haven't even started to test 4 the Nigerian based carriers. All I keep hearing is that a returnee tested ++... By next week expect us to be counting cases by the minute hand. |

The returning Nigerians are now spreading this disease in geometrical nos. Had the gvt closed the bother since January or at least quarantined every returnee,we would have had it under control. You obviously left for a western country for a better service but you are coming back to the same place you were avoiding |

I don't understand this NCDC, is it that they do not include the cases of policians of people related to policians in their record? https://www.nairaland.com/5753983/nigeria-records-two-new-coronavirus as of yesterday it was 44 confirmed cases, same yesterday Abba and 3 of his staffs tested positive. That's supposed to make the number 48 and now Nigeria has +2 new cases. so why are they still reporting 46 It's now very obvious that Nigeria has more cases than reported. God have mercy on us |
