So to our two staff establishment offices (junior and Senior) and get the record sir.
And if really you are here, our last CV anniversary in office, lay a hand on the copy of the programme, you will attest to what am saying. Better still, go to information and publication unit and get the record self, you will agree with me. Thanks much
Maybe your batch was employed to cover up things, and it may not have been up to 8000... That figure will seriously raise the eyebrows, even if na Kyari be the VC.

It's not about what you studied. Just network and pray.

Meanwhile, if you see connection for FG agencies, research institutes or revenue generating MDAs, tap in to it. They all pay more than universities.

The least places you should consider are ministries and federal Secretariats. They pay the least. Unless you don't have any other option.

All the best pretty

It was really easy except for documentation which was along procedure, otherwise everything happen like magic. And I really thank God. Because I have work with a private organization for over 9 years after graduating from school. Though, joining government, I was placed on a lower earning compare to what I earned previously from this private place. This is because I am employed from a lower lever than my previous working place who promoted me 4 times while I was there. Though just a level difference which by his grace 2021, I will be promoted.
Meanwhile, certainly, if there is any opportunity, I will let you know. The same way God did for me, He will do for others who are in need.

9 years? I give you respect! No be small pikin me and am dey talk since

Again. Chimpretty,,

Never accept to use O'level to start work in a government work. The pay is so small and you will be climbing but it won't look like you're climbing.

Conversion to Degree level isn't easy too. If and when you see the Messiah, let the person help you to start work with either bsc or HND. I know a person that used o'level to start work in 1994, Me that came in last year is earning more than him.

Very important

Well I may not be right on the issue of file number, but all I can tell u is, the university employed massively during the 2018 employment. Only because it was underground enjoyment, many people were not aware of the employment figure. I am from information unit of the University and I know the figures am talking about.
If you are here in UNIJOS and know much about UNIJos, that figure wouldn't be a surprise for u. This a university that operates about four campuses with laison offices across the country. Presently, the university is still in need of work force, after employing such figure, but only FG is saying no employment at the moment.
For files numbers I may be wrong, but the truth remains that UNIJos employed massively. And for those doubting the figures, UNIJos is not like other baby universities upcoming.

the possibility is very remote. In fact, if the fg manage to pay march salary, that of April will be non existence. So if you manage to get March salary, my brother, spend it wisely cos from next month, things will be devastatingly hard

If FG mean well for it's citizens, this is the time it ought to proof by paying salaries on time. Other countries are even freely dishing out certain amount to its citizens.
FG should as a matter of fact pay salaries swiftly as hunger alone is capable of causing more death than Covid 19 which has so far recorded only one death issue.

Shortfalls in salaries: NASU gives notice of strike

The Non-academic Staff of Federal Universities, Inter-university Centres, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education has threatened to embark on strike on April 1 if there are shortfalls in the March salaries of their members.

It noted that a seven-day warning strike earlier planned for this month was abandoned due to the closure of all institutions across the country because of COVID-19 outbreak.

The union under the aegis of Non-academic Staff of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) cautioned the Office of Accountant-General of the Federation managing the Integrated Payroll Personnel and Information System (IPPIS) not to make mistake in the March salaries of its members.
According to the union, if the mistakes of shortfalls as reflected in the February salaries of its members are repeated, they will shut down all federal institutions in the country immediately.

General-Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, stated these in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital. Adeyemi lamented the deduction of National Housing Fund (NPF) from tertiary institutions’ workers’ salaries in February.

He noted that IPPIS did not take into account the peculiarities of workers in tertiary institutions.

According to him, some NASU members who operate salary accounts with Micro Finance banks were not paid February salaries while some were underpaid.

The statement reads: “We cannot embark on a strike when the institutions are all closed. We cannot also wait for workers not to be paid for three months. That is why if by the end of this month, we are short changed again; we would have no choice other than proceed on a total strike.

“Those managing the Integrated Payroll Personnel and Information System (IPPIS) cannot afford to make mistakes in the March salaries. If the mistakes are made again, we will shut down all federal institutions in the country immediately.

“What we are telling them now is to move quickly and correct the anomalies. They should not allow the February mistake to repeat itself in the March salaries, if not, our reaction will be total.

“With this first experiment, it is clear that the platform designed for us did not take our peculiarities on board. Rather, what was done was to massively cut our members’ salaries and allowances and also deducted the National Housing Fund (NHF), which has not been implemented in our institutions for many years. The reason the tertiary institutions pulled out from NPF was that it was not serving the purpose for which it was established.

“Indeed, some of the conditions that were specified in the scheme included presentation of Certificate of Occupancy before assessing the facility. As a result of that, we protested against our inclusion and government removed from the scheme.

“Because IPPIS has our data, government just went ahead to play around with our salaries taking what they ought not to have taken from salaries and refusing to pay what they ought to have paid to us.”

He noted that allowances captured in the Polytechnic, Universities and Colleges of Education 2009 agreement entered into with the Federal Government were not captured by IPPIS.

Adeyemi noted that peculiarities that ought to have been integrated into IPPIS system included 65 retirement age, sabbatical leave, earned allowances and peculiarity allowances amongst other issues.

He added that more than 200 non-academic members that had their salaries’ account in Micro Finance banks in some institutions such as Federal College of Education, Abeokuta, were not paid their February salaries at all.
