raumdeuter: Dayo, Dayo. Trying to be clever by half again. If Detroit Auto industry is left to die, another auto industry will replace it. If they cannot handle their crisis, why should govt. bail them out when the same govt will not bail out Citizens when crisis hit? It is not the first time companies are going bankrupt and moribund, why is the govt. not giving them bail out fund? Are they not employing people also? Are there no people drawing pay check from them? When they declare bankrupt, is the govt paying them? In the Covid-19 Relief Act currently in Congress, Trump and his Republicans want to give $500b to big corporations, who is going to take care of the small businesses that employ people in their community? If the big corporations deserve bail out because of the employees under them, why not the other small businesses? Are you talking about the same MTN? The same one that’s milking Nigerians daily? No system is better but do a survey in America today and almost 80% of the population will rather take the UK and Italy health system compared to the kind of health system US run. While other countries were running test free of charge, US was charging $3000 for test before the govt had to step in. Going back tonight Education, your analogy doesn’t make sense. Porn is not a career that needs Education while sports in lots of cases has to do with talent and minimum education required. Even at that, there are a lot of sponsored sport education. While should I finish tertiary education lot students loans when most of students around the world are graduating debt free? How can there be a system that gives free tertiary education to citizens and you are advocating for one that burdens graduates with student loans that they have to service for the most of their life’s? Oga Dayo, who has bewitched you? In OAU that you finished paying less than $100 every year, did the govt tell you the course to study? 2 Likes |

larride: Currently, about 35% of Americans over 25yrs have a college degree, Let's assume all of them even have student loans, If govt should be giving free education to 35% of the population, what should be done for the 65% who are not going to college and want to learn a trade start a business or just do anything they want? Should govt take their tax to fund those elites who want to go to college? 2 Likes |

larride: The Detroit Auto industry is Americas main car manufacturers and economies of States are tied to it, at the peak of the financial crisis the entire region became a ghosttown and people were dying in droves, Should govt allow the auto industry to go down and the millions of people dependent on it? In the Covid-19 Relief Act currently in Congress, Trump and his Republicans want to give $500b to big corporations, who is going to take care of the small businesses that employ people in their community? If the big corporations deserve bail out because of the employees under them, why not the other small businesses? That is because the economy of the nation is tied to businesses. If these corporations go down, How will those dependent of them feed themselves, You havent answered that? If govt is giving the people bailouts without reviving the companies, how long will they continue to do that for? Are you talking about the same MTN? The same one that’s milking Nigerians daily? MTN is milking Nigerians, but shebi we still have NITEL, can you shred the MTN Glo and airtel sim and just go back to using NITEL or Mtel? No system is better but do a survey in America today and almost 80% of the population will rather take the UK and Italy health system compared to the kind of health system US run. While other countries were running test free of charge, US was charging $3000 for test before the govt had to step in. Free tests. Ask anyone in UK if they can get the tests now. How many people are able to get test in Italy, You just like the idea of things being free even if its substandard or non existent. Going back tonight Education, your analogy doesn’t make sense. Porn is not a career that needs Education while sports in lots of cases has to do with talent and minimum education required. Even at that, there are a lot of sponsored sport education. Oga Dayo, who has bewitched you? Do you think pornstars dont get training? Don't models get training, Don't athletes get training? If you have the talent and you dont get the training you won't make it anywhere, just like if you have the brains and didnt go to college you wont become an engineer I got the free $100 education that is almost worthless in the real world of technology. Why will I blame them? its free to teach Fortran 77 when the whole world has abandoned it, Just like I can give you my windows XP software for free. Its no longer valuable. raumdeuter: What happened to 19-24yrs who are currently in college or have just finished college? College education is not mandatory but it should be made at least 90% free for those that wants to go, not burden them with debt for the rest of their life’s. Going by your logic, during the global crisis in 2008, how come only big corporation get bail out and other small businesses are left to either survive or close up? Of the businesses in America, big corporations represent 15% or even lesser, why do they deserve bail out when they run into crisis and the other 85% businesses doesn’t? |

larride: What percentage of the entire population are those 19-24 who are in college and have just completed college? This big coorporation like the big auto firms have an effect even on the local businesses you are talking about. If the auto industry die, do you know how many small businesses are in business just to service them? Na someone dey gets the contract for tissue paper, cleaning their toilet, supplying papers and pen. The employees who get back to work end up buying hotdog and burger from Mom and Pop burger joints, They end up going to strip clubs from the income they make etc. Can you see how many people are indirectly affected by the bailout? All these small people you are saying you care about all benefit from keeping the auto industry alive Imagine if the Telecom industry goes down in Nigeria how many people do you think would be affected 1 Like |

raumdeuter: The quote "You learn something new everyday" never seemed more apt than in this scenario. Before a sex scene, I’d lock myself in the bathroom with my self-made stretch-and-cleanse-kit. Enema bottles were rinsed and filled only with water, I’d chew up Imodium A-D (just to be thorough), and then begin the process of stretching out, starting with the smallest toy and working up to my largest. Sometimes this process was quick; other times it took so long the director would bang on the door because I was holding up production Never knew Pornstars put themselves and their bodies through all these things just to get the "Money Shot". Quite an eye opener indeed. 4 Likes |

raumdeuter: It is often postulated that small scale businesses have major impact on a country economy, so how come they don’t get bail out but instead big corporations does? If Govt can’t cut me check when I run into crisis, what justification does it have to cut it to but corporaiton when we are both running business? In a capitalist market, there will always be an alternative. If they run themselves aground, why should the govt give them money when someone else can buy them over when they declare bankruptcy? When those small businesses close up, who is going to cut them check? Who’s going to take care of those the small business employ to run their businesses? Why should one be important than the job? Shouldn’t same rule apply to them all? I’m not advocating for govt to run businesses so I don’t understand where your MTN/NITEL analogy is coming from. 90% of those that fall sick and treated by NHS in the UK will be treated at no cost. Can the same be said of the US? The surgery you will do in UK and most part of Europe and Asia at little or no cost will cost premium in the US even with insurance cover. Oga Dayo, how will you see an health care system that caters for all irrespective of your status and still try to defend the one you have to pay through your teeth to get same service? What’s the percentage of model or porn star in comparison to the % of those that needs a degree? For sports, I’m sure you know about NCAA and their role in US sports. 1 Like |

larride: Many small businesses depend on big corporations, They service them. Most of what we call employment is either in producing a product or servicing those producing the product. If Toyota opens a factory in a city, you know how many people not working with Toyota that will benefit? One big Toyota plant can be the bedrock that support 1,000 small businesses and the income of 10million people. The trickle-down effect of having mention a small business e.g Recharge card sellers, how will they survive if the Nigerian Telecom industry collapse? NCAA is offering world-class training for free to athletes in exchange for giving them exposure, taking all their potential income and endorsements. The other option is for the athlete to go out there, train himself, expose himself and pocket the money Just like some companies will hire you, sign a contract to work several years and pay your student loan or send you to school and pay your tuition with an agreement that you work with them for several years At the end of the day someone still has to pay for the cost of training to be an athlete, porn star or accountant. 2 Likes |

They will each both get paid proportionally to what the company they work for is worth or the revenue each produce. I didn't see anywhere he said everybody in the company will be paid the same amount all the way from the CEOs to the janitor. |

raumdeuter: NCAA still pays the athletes under them salary based on the contract they sign. Lots of companies do send their employees to school also while footing their bills. The question then is, why can’t government do the same? This model has been tested all over the world and it works, why can’t the US govt. does so also? |
