I once encountered a puff adder in my villa some time ago.
It was short and the abdomen was bulging like it had just eaten.
It was slithering very clumsily and quite slowly; wobbling from side to side.

Well I took a machete and slashed off his head.
Very venomous things they are.
Hope you killed it.

But why did you kill the snake?

A bite from that snake will get you killed within 30 seconds.

Anybody asking why that snake was killed needs to be examined.

Who knows anything about this kind of snake?
I encountered this snake at UNIBEN botanical garden this morning.

Being an animal right activist I never intended to kill it, but the way it displayed make me resort to chase it down and kill it for the safety of people who usually comes to chill in that garden.

This snake moves with a straight body, this means it doesn't wriggle while it moves.

It a surprisingly loud hissing sound.

It can inflate its whole body to about 3 times the normal size.

Not too fast but you'll need to run to catch up with it.

The body is flat that you might mistake it to be some dried long leaf if you don't look well.

It's good with camouflage as it was staying just 2 feet away from me but it took me several seconds of looking at it before I realize it was a snake.

This is a baby snake, besides it’s not fast maybe cos it just finished eating

It's super venomous/poisonous snake....I watched a documentary on it yesterday on NGW... undecided

Animal rights activist killing any animal for whatever reason is not an animal rights activist. The snake didn't choose to be venomous and dangerous. God made it so. Hence, it has the right to live.
Oya go and report yourself to the relevant authorities.
Oh! Sorry... I didn't realize that we are in Nigeria.
Well you can still go to the UK or US to report yourself to the real animal rights activists and also receive further training.
Your visa and flight ticket on me.

You shouldn't have killed such a beauty.

All you should have done was attempt to catch it, after which you should have released it into the wild.

Humans are the most dangerous living things on earth. Maybe the coronavirus is fair to be dealing with humans. Abi no be so?

Many of you don't understand that these animals are living things too. You think the planet belongs to only you people.

Try and kill all those animals, and see how you survive after that.

Even if it saw small children it wont attack them cos clearly it can't even swallow em.. Nigga please!

@Op, that snake is quite easily infuriated, its OK you killed it. In a garden, it will most likely bite someone eventually(but it could also have been taken out to a place it won't hurt anyone easily)

Native doctors in South Africa use the puff-adder to make predictions as well as heal people by first placing the snake in their mouth...

So much power yet we allowed the white men tame us, take us as slaves, colonise us and hold us ransom to debts and their inventions?
How did that happen
