that is the best they could do, lock down for a while and let those that are infected already receive treatment at home so there will not be further spread then govt should fumigate the entire country. Its those that are alive that can earn daily

...and am also sorry if some of the words in my post didn't come off right.

That said, the part in bold won't be necessary, except if u didn't understand the point I was trying to make.
U really don't need to go into observatory mode. U should continue to participate.(I encourage u not to stop)
Feel free to ride on with ur comments and opinion, but try to lead a more balanced view of things.
...and above all, preach what u do or act out what u preach.

I have always maintained that divergent views are welcome !! ...infact, we need a lot of them. See post above(a revert to @ oracle)
We all need each other. ...but we must do things with all sincerity of purpose and honesty !!
Once again, I encourage u not to stop participating.

Pls accept my warm regards !!

No matter what we are still friend.
As of this very hour, I am still much out not in, but will finally enter stocks when I feel that it's right for me without making it public.

I am apologizing to you, and to whom ever I and my post have offended, please forgive, and those whose own post have offended me, I have forgiven. From now henceforth I have choose not to post any negative or positive post about stocks for now, till further notice, and I have choose to be in observatory mode.
Thanks all for your understanding.

On that day, the price of WAPCO was N43.20 and today it is N9.50. Growing up, there was a popular commercial by a Nigerian bank that ends with" Big, Strong, Reliable. Lafarge Africa (WAPCO) is big, not strong and history says is an unreliable investment with unreliable earnings releases.

Just go back a few pages. Plenty of specific stocks and sectoral recommendations there.

Are you aware of the statistics that says those who rely of stock tips for investing success hardly achieve their goals?

We can not use today price to judge any company. It is not fair. However, I dont like this company again despite my stake there.
Management of information seems poor. There could be some underline problems. Where is their 2019 year end report? Moreso no comments to stake holders. This is awry

Humanity is fighting war on two fronts, COVID 19 and hunger. The decision of UBA to postpone AGM because of COVID 19, thereby holding onto highly needed dividend funds is a decision that fights a war on one front rather than the two fronts currently on ground. People need money to survive the impact of health crisis. So this is no time to lock up much needed funds. If people don't get the funds they need, you end up killing them by subjecting them to hunger. GTB bank has implemented a sound measure of organising a controlled AGM where shareholders can attend either by proxy or online hookup and it caters for the double-fronted war. UBA needs to emulate this as a matter of URGENCY. Organize a controlled AGM and pay out dividends immediately otherwise you could have blood on your hands soonest.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has asked the Federal Government to pay each household in ten thousand naira (N10,000) as a supplement for foodstuff within the period in which many are confined to their homes.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made this call on Wednesday when he donated N50million as relief fund to support the Federal Government’s battle against the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Insider information? Stop discrediting me.

I only make analysis and deduce from the chart I look at.

If you can't interpret charts, just sit and watch rather than say one has insider information.

The words in bold may be untrue. He, however, reads and understands the market so well.
If he has insider info in NSE, how about his predictions of other foreign indices that often hold true?

Help me ask am o grin grin

I don't even trade Brent sef, NYSE or EU. So where is the inside information? But I study body language of people to predict what their next move could be. I research past events to see what was done then and predict that it could be done now. It is not rocket science to do these and draw parallel from those events.

I tire for that oga.

Baba is a wise man. I once read in a financial book that when one has a sound knowledge of the economics of the world, it would seem as if one controls the finances of the entire universe. Oga R Onifa is not an insider, he's a highly knowledgable and gifted investor. Whether some people agree or not, he's a blessing to this platform!

Baba, forget reading and understanding chats/markets o. This market has been going against technicians' predictions since COVID 19. And no one with insider info will come here and say they have it.
