A couple stopped to caution some fruit and vegetable sellers after they allegedly saw them washing their fruits with gutter water.

In a video shared online, the couple is seen driving towards the direction of the fruit sellers. On getting there, one of the fruit sellers is seen bent over the gutter.

The fruit seller immediately moves away from the gutter as the lady in the car begins calling him out for washing his fruits with gutter water

This comes at a time Nigeria is battling coronavirus Pandemic.

Just imagine the wickedness in their acts.
They have the cash to buy the fruits from whoever supplies them but can't afford to buy clean water to wash them?
These guys are just cruel and they careless about whatever happens to the consumers. I believe they'll never have a taste from that rubbish they sell, even if their survival depends on it.
Sometime, I wonder how we survive in this country?

if it's only one video i've seen of these guys washing fruits inside gutter, I'd say okay maybe it's just that one guy

but now i've seen way too many videos not to take this shhh seriously

I was even tempted to eat salad with veggies i brought from market, but i said during this peroid, all my raw veggies have to pass through hot water in the pot, by fire by force. even if it's only 20 percent of nutrient left, thats enough for me.

only raw fruits i can consider for now are oranges

You're right.
We all need to be careful with whatever we're putting in our stomach.
Not sure I'll ever patronise these guys again. I can't be killing myself with my money, unknowingly.
