I am with you as a confirmed tither. The money that is given to God is used for running the church, to help with the ministry and to help spread the gospel.
The money is used for the Kingdom of God. Tithing is trusting God, if you do not trust how your church is spending tithes and offering. Do not stop tithing, still continue to and let God be judge.

The truth is that everybody pays tithe. You either pay to God and get blessed or satan -the devourer takes it from you forcefully and takes more. Thats why he fightd the subject so much. I have never lost any money in investment except for my over sabi. Few week to 2008 stocks crash i felt like selling all my shares in Oceanic and others and as soon I sold all not up to a month the market crashed. Many things like that.

Blessings that the so called tithers are struggling to survive. It is good to support causes you believe in by giving, donating, tithing etc, but it is not compulsory that such givings, donations and tithing will make one to be financially independent and living a life of abundance.

I have seen tithers and non tithers that are doing well financially, I have also seen tithers and non tithers who are struggling financially.

do you know this is one of the ways tithe is paid according to scriptures, amongst the three ways by which it should be paid. Others include giving it to the church and finally eating it in the company of the pastors and the less privilege. Its just unfortunate that only the part where it is given to the church is stressed.

OP in the first place you don't even believe wholeheartedly in this tithing, but since your conscience is worrying you, that is why you're seeking our opinions.

The truth is if you don't pay, the money will still not be enough. On the other hand if you aren't faithful in paying it when you earn small you won't be able to pay it when you have so much. The Bible says when you pay your tithe He will rebuke the devourer for your sake. Meaning you won't spend it on sickness, police case, village problems etc because they are all devourers.

So I'll encourage you to take out your tithe, pray over it and pay it and the Good Lord will prove His faithfulness in your life. Cheers.

Don't be silly. You can pay your tithe whenever you please. It's not a sin. Don't put yourself in distress just because of some church or pastor.
