decargne: Boss, take the first advise, you can look into GTbank, Zenith, Fidelity, Afriprud, UBA or UCAP.. with such stocks the probability for an upside is higher. Do not buy into illiquid stocks ooo. i speak from experience.. when i started i also thought penny stocks was the way, that was my greatest undoing, i wouldnt want you to experience same. N.B. you are the CEO of your portfolio. not a recommendation to buy or sell 5 Likes 2 Shares |

stcool: There must be a huge bill the Chinese will pay for this. The question I am asking is : when it was discovered that many people left Wuhan before the lockdown started, why were there no increasing cases in Beijing? Instead most cases were limited to just Hubei Province. After US emerges from this crisis, it may not be easy for China. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Mcy56: No doubt, WAPCO's performance has been disappointing for years now, majorly as a result of the acquisition of the loss making South African operation. However, after the disposal of that venture, as at Q3 they had posted PAT of N20.5bn from continuing operations. Most importantly they posted another Profit after tax from discontinued operations of N99.5bn, which i think they will either use for Share buy back or pay as special dividend. Just my opinion though. Greetings house! 5 Likes |

lexddon:Greetings B-or-SitL, Thanks for this comment, the special dividend will be very good and highly welcome. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by rebekah2011(m): 10:02am On Mar 27, 2020 |
Special dividend would have been possible if the company is liquid in cash. The company still has debts and it will not be wise to go borrowing to pay dividend. Mcy56: |

Mcy56: Its not an attack on America Trump's foolishness and non challantness is largely to blame for these deaths and the spread From the way he handled the issue ab initio To allowing under your watch 90% of your medical supplies and drug come from China (which btw you have marked as a trade adversary and slammed tariff after tariff) To refusing to invoke the defence production act To disbanding the medical emergency response team To defunding the CDC And the list is endless May God never allow a demagogue like Trump lead my Nigeria Now he is saying that things should be normal by Easter Sunday even when his medical advisers are singing the opposite He is still insisting May God be with America sha Germany is doing a good job in containing this. And Britain to an extent 1 Like |

locodemy:Buyers already queued at N9 and below, it may or may not get there. Those buying since yesterday may have sighted the result. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:31am On Mar 27, 2020 |
FCMB still looks cheap to me at 1.50. If the result is good like that of fidelity, it will close the gap btw them. I got small units at 1.43 during the panic. About to go below 1.50 again, wouldn't be bad to pick some units below 1.50 for those interested..... that's if it goes below. NB: Just my opinion and observation. 1 Like |

Mcy56: Sighted result for good or bad? Why I guess breakout, the stock touched #10 yesterday but the buyer at sub #9 is not yet done. It may also be a two side of a coin. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:41am On Mar 27, 2020 |
locodemy:Could be either way......but don't you think it will be dumping instead if the result is bad? Some of the transactions were not on the floor. Anyway, fingers crossed. |

Madam, with what is going on in the economy would not it be better if you align yourself with Tier 1 banks that their heads are correct. Not many will be able to withstand the shock of oil price and economy lull for the rest of the year. We may just see Fidelity, FCMB, Sterling go below N1 in 2020. Mcy56: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mcy56: The buyer is done and yet no more price action on Wapco. One thing I know is Wapco result could be of help to drive the price. From all indications including the sales of subsidiary and Q3 result, the financial year end result will be fantastic. Anything 8.50 is ok for now until we hear from zenith Bank to adjust price again for Wapco. |
