DrChukki:
Covid-19 has a fatality rate of approximately 0.23%.

So if we are to have 39,000 cases in Lagos, that means we're expecting 8,970 deaths. ..
====

You see why we just have to allow these politicians to get this virus and die.

Close boarder them no hear.
Okay get health facilities, NO.

Someone will take public transport to LUTH for Covid-19 test. When he tests positive, they will still ask him to go home because there's no facility to take care of him. The same person will go home on public transport.

You see eh... If not for the love of God, Nigeria suppose to be having high figures by now.

May God continue to help us
0.23% fatality is approximately 90 deaths not 8970 deaths

Ignorance! Ask yourself how other viruses are surviving in this sun! Don't think you're immune cos you're living in the tropics. You better take care of yourself.
Kindly desist from engaging with ignorance! They can be more infectious than the corolla virus itself.

yes! and very useful to make preparations for enough isolation centres

Lol... Those isolation centers won't be put to use... Except they plan to go on house to house testing...

Maybe it's for those they intend to import from other nations since they keep allowing them in droves into the nation after lying that they have put a check on it....

Every state has taken steps, and instituted lock down... With so much caution and steps in place, how is 65 supposed to fly to 39,000 in just 3 weeks??!... Lol.

Govt putting the limit on congregation to either 10 - 50 is wrong they should put total ban on all congregation because transmission can occur one to one.

The only way to prevent this from happening is to make sure that everyone stays at home for at least 14 days and also make sure that people can be tested easily regardless of your status - rich or poor.

This is no joke - If they allow this virus to HIT the country, It will be a disaster!. You can imagine all countries restricting travels from Nigeria, only the rich jumping on their private jets and 'jappaing' somewhere. The least people can do now is to work together and stop the spread of the virus.

The real figures will shock people, the FG and ministry involve have been downplaying how fast spreading this virus is.

Honestly, at this point, it is out of their hands (though they won't admit it)...

The only thing that will save Nigerians is the superior immunity of most of them...

As Dr. Sanjay Gupta said on CNN a week ago, some people will easily get infected, display symptoms that they will treat as common cold. The average Nigerian will recover within days easily.

I beg to differ completely here. The only reason why this is so is that we are not testing enough, period! Infact, compared to what Spain and Italy did at the fourth week we are not testing at all.
the man is an educated idiot, comparing Nigeria's cases with that of Spain when he has done less than 400 test.
I repeat, he is an educated idiot

these guys should stop releasing unscientific information that is damaging public reasoning.

scientist are begining to understand that the virus attacks and becomes serious with certain people of age and health issues

The United States has begin zoning based on demography and could allow free movt in zones populated by young ppl.

Shouting upandan and locking everywhere with no empirical data of the spread, no. of test and clinical samples.

everything here is force and force and order with mopol, no intelligence !

Is this supposed to be a joke or what, are they hiding the numbers.

The way he gave figures shows they have more than the figures they are giving us.

Why not total shut down in Nigeria to curb this menace or are they benefiting something from the spread
