please I need a good advice,I just took my car on hp last week with 100k deposit, and I have remitted this week, 25k
I am on hp, but the way things r going, what can I do please, should I return the car to partner or I should propose reduction, if reduction, like how much can I agree to from the 25k, am going to his house this morning but I dont know what to say or do when I get there.

Ask for a break, not reduction because the best thing you can do for now is to stay at home if not more than 50% of riders will either be from a hospital or to a hospital. Your partner should understand

You shouldn't have even taken hp offer last week as corona virus had already hit Nigeria, and following events, I should have expected lockdown like this in Nigeria.

Like advised, just go and approach your partner and drop the car at his house and explain the situations to him.

Please don't risk your health in this period. Stay home till coast is clear.
Grooves and face masks can barely protect you. The money you collect with gloves, you put them in your safe or pocket and still touch them eventually with your hands.

Do you have a “force majeure” clause in your contract?
Assuming it’s there, simply go and drop the car and wait till government suspends curfew.
Nothing will happen to your 100k.

If your partner decides not to continue thereafter you have every right to collect your 100k back.

COVID 19 Data from the Italian Istituto Superiore di Sanità ( Italian Higher Institute of Health)

detailed report on covid deaths in Italy

this basically will give you a clue of what can happen in nigeria but also we shouldnt forget that life expectancy rate in Nigeria is around 55 years old

lot of young people in Nigeria suffering from kidney problem, hbp, diabetics, hiv/aids and others

this virus could wipe out a whole generation, that is why you all need to be careful

this is pure survival of the fittest.
From the stats I can say I have 80-95% chances to survive the dieses that's even been infected.

I've never been diagnosed neither had any in my lineage been diagnised of any of the diseases listed.

According to scientific research about the corona virus people with blood group O have great resistance to the virus and people with blood group A suffers the most attack. My blood group is O+ with A genotype. the only issue people like us 've is with malaria but with mosquito net and fleets we r good to go.

So I'm going back to work.

Talk to him first.

If he refuses to give you back the car after the virus wahala, you gotta go tough on him afterall the lockdown is a govt ordered one not your own doing.

If he refuses, put him on Twitter, nairaland and every social media, I'm sure he will love the attention. A lot of people will be ready to fight for you.

He cant hold on to your 100k and refuses to release the car. This is a national shutdown, not your decision. RELAX AND RETURN THE CAR.

The fight is best fought if the car isn't with you, return the car to him for now.

Abeg which govt officials or banks will ask for defaulters this period. Other countries are giving extra incentives for their people and persuading them to stay at home.

What then do you suggest the young man do? Proper solution or give suggestions rather than giving the subject a false hope.

The government is doing her best to curb the spread of the deadly disease by asking her citizen to seat at home what makes you feel an employer of labour or a banking Institute can't be sued for charging his employee/debtor to go against the government's orders??

Like peeps4u rightly resounded it, neither gloves nor facemasks can either protect one 100%.

Even self, the street is empty, no request Coming in at all. Riders are even more careful and more informed becuase 95% riders have this notion drivers are illiterates and dont want to associate with them this period.

Its only bolt that's having little or few request coming in this period and at the end of the day you'd noticed going out doesnt even worth it apart from the free road.

I know its difficult sitting at home even when you dint have money to feed but lets all try as citizen to play our own part to help the spread of this disease as we also pray for God's mercy to make it end than expected.

God bless us all

I mentioned here during the saga that all the LASG wanted was just money to its coffers, go to d out the amount of money emailing companies paid to them and how many uber drivers have been harassed after then.

Anyways, just get all the necessary documents "in case of incasecity". In 9ja anytin can happen anytime.
