Is of the truth that most Nigerian youths are dumb. How can someone say he's giving away 10bil to nairalanders and you rushed in to drop your details.? 86 Likes 5 Shares |

Your bank account is like your personal identity. Posting bank accounts online is dangerous. You could be used as a money mule. Your account stolen and used for financial identity theft. Your name stolen and used for fraud. Fraudsters can use your banking info to send stolen or scammed money into it, if your account is flagged, it will be freezed. It can be used to sponsor terrorism activities, that one na big trouble you don enter. Money laundering ko, 85 Likes 10 Shares |

sexylassie2:only your bank details can not expose you to such troubles you mentioned above. Why will someone wire stolen money to unknown account? It's only when you reveal sensitive infos like bvn,and credit card details you will be exposed to such troubles 427 Likes 18 Shares |

seankafor: See this one, it happens wella. Isnt it the method yahoo boys and terrorists are using to move money around. Your write your account online through your moniker, the op contacts you privately and propose a deal, before you know it, you have become a mule moving money from account to account 38 Likes |

sexylassie2: You need more research on how fraud and waya waya are done... All these accounts thrown here are safe!!!!!!... Unless the accounts owner is involved!!!!!.. No fraudster will just pick up an account here and transfer them stolen funds there without first involving you.. Jeez!! 154 Likes 5 Shares |
Re: Dangers Of Exposing Your Bank Details Online? by proclinician: 10:23am On Mar 29, 2020 |
sexylassie2: No. A scammer puts money into an acc on a faceless forum then sends the holder a pm and manages to convince him that instead of sending 10k he sent 10m he should withdraw all and pack in a briefcase and meet up anywhere in Nigeria. This is possible to be frank. It is also as possible as throwing a brief case of money out of the plane into the Atlantic then go to bar beach and wait for it. That's my point. 53 Likes 1 Share |

sexylassie2:they are lying.. Nobody can withdraw a dime from your account without your atm and password, without an OtP send directly to your phone number, without your PIn.. I repeat all accounts here are safe.. These accounts can only be used for frauds with the consent of account owners 85 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Dangers Of Exposing Your Bank Details Online? by babyfaceafrica: 10:43am On Mar 29, 2020 |
sexylassie2:so how come effc have arrested people collecting cash on behalf of people they dont know? You are at fault, if you collect cash from people you don't know!!!.. If someone transfers money to your account, it is your imperative and decision to know where the money comes from and you can then decide what to do with the money.. But to say dropping of accounts will make fraudsters use your account... Na lie!!!.. How will they collect it? 15 Likes |

Re: Dangers Of Exposing Your Bank Details Online? by babyfaceafrica: 10:53am On Mar 29, 2020 |
sexylassie2: money mule, sometimes called a "smurfer," [1] is a person who transfers money acquired illegally (e.g., stolen) in person, through a courier service, or electronically, on behalf of others. Typically, the mule is paid for services with a small part of the money transferred. The last sentence buttresses my point...... You as a mule get a cut for the transaction of which you are aware 9 Likes |

This is your assertion I then ask how can your account be stolen and used for financial theft without your knowledge?.. You think financial theft is moin-moin.. Person will see your account and transfer money there?.. Hahahaha ha.. Go to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and see enough account numbers.. This ones on nairaland is small 12 Likes |
