Do you mean p40 alone or the whole 40 series, because from my initial findings its only p40 that has IP 52 but 40 pro and pro+ has IP 68

You may be right but a few people complain about some stuff after update. Like battery now. I like battery well o. May not want to risk update if it may affect my battery.

Some of those complaining of battery draining are using Redmi 7 or other phones. So it's their version of 11.0.3 is different from yours.

All Xiaomi phones(different Models) are hardly ever on the same MIUI Version.

So I might be on 11.0.3 and another model is on 11.0.6 and another model on 11.0.8 and so on.
