I am presently staying in Osun State and I have seen two teenagers wearing waist beads, one is 13 and the other is 14 years old. I don't want to ask their parents reasons for it, so please help me.

Everyone with his/her own choice. It left for my daughter to decide if she wanna wear a waist bead or not I see nothing wrong with it.

13 years to me is very bad, at least 20+ I can never and never buy it for my daughter.

They are my neighbors daughters and since last year August I migrated here, seriously, these girls are off point, we have like 8 gold diggers living with us and they are in just 2 rooms the 8 of them not including their visitors and brothers oo,, and you know who gold diggers are (smokers, cultists, etc)

Yes 1 Thessalonians 4:11 says so, but but but, these are minors for Christ sake and parents should be careful, also raising a child now is a society business, your responsibility my responsibility

It is actually for fashion in those days, but there are more to it this days. Many still use it for fashion, but we have some that use it for selfish reason. It get men arose touching it or seeing it n it is mostly covered with clothes, only their partners gets to see it( those days)

In this present age, waist beads are almost exclusively worn by OLOSHOs.

Immediately I see a lady with beads on her waist or chains/beads around her legs, the 1st thing that comes to my mind is Jakpa Japka..... I still don't get why ladies put it on.... the reasons am seeing so far are more or less invalid.....
