This Govt. is making a mess of this whole situation. Less than 300 people have been tested in a country of about 180m people.
And from this 300 people more than 100 tested positive. That's about 33% of the tested people are positive.

Nigeria has ventilators, sure just in limited quantities. America is running out of ventilators, I have relatives there who said they are using Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) machines as ventilators, which isn't ideal. They have all the money to buy ventilators, but there isn't adequate supply. When a patient's heart stops and they call a "code" the doctors don't even have enough N95 masks (airborne masks) to enter the room and resuscitate the patient. To limit exposure to the medical staff, they only do 1 or 2 rounds of CPR, if there's no pulse, they end it and allow the person die. So don't be too quick in thinking the foreign countries are that much better equipped or prepared than us.
