Secure this domain name and park....

You sold domains in XXXX range in time past,

Most people you are telling to buy that domain has sold only in 3 figures..

Since you sold that high, your belief in domainig should be stronger, it should be strong enough for you to borrow money or sell a property and buy those names you are sure will sell....After all you believe in the name and you have an experience for 7 years now so why not buy it by yourself and make more money, you need especially now..

You can borrow money from bank or branch that's if you don't have for now and use it on porkbun 3.90$ promo or Hostpapa 2.99$ to buy those domains, if you have some money you can buy it .....I join my faith with you on those names alright

What we need from you is not showing us available domain most people here have far better name in there watchlist ... So make these names your watchlist and buy them all by yourself.

In the past 7 months I noticed a kind of ommision pattern trend on one word English domain.

Names that follow the omitted "E" pattern

Like

Flicker............................ Flickr.com

Better.............................. Bettr.com

Power...............................powr.com
And lot lot more

I started searching for these pattern with one other one for like 4 months now. I couldn't get any for reg fee so I quit searching .

Few days back I noticed

Powrful.com sold at SH take note of the "E" omission then I checked again and I saw Unbreakr.com listed on SH.. so it kind of rekindle my fire to search for that pattern once more.

Finally I tried Slaughter.............. And got slaughtr/com ( there is placed called Slaughter in PH and that was the prime idea before I tried it..

Sorry for the long epistle

I just want to hear from the veterans specially brandable @beckplanet @haykay and CO's

What are your take on these pattern, are they still in fashion and could be it sold as a brandable?

I have no idea of what to do with the name just parked at Bodis

The best thing I can confidently say it helped me to do is break away from my gambling addiction.

Below is an excerpt of a chat between me and a friend(fellow domainer)
"Aswear, it's heartbreaking. Sometimes i just sit down and think about the money i invested into domaining. If to say e dey my account. I for dey carry shoulder waka for road. Worst of it all, some people dey buy domain sell the same day and dem no get two heads. "
The waiting game is tiring o. You know as it is. I'm even ashamed as a learned fellow whos yet to make a breakthrough in this business. E dey do my body somehow to enter thread and read sales report"

I understand perfectly how he is feeling because we dey the same boat but all the same, we got to keep the hope alive. We keep reading and learning!!!

Domain name investing is the best online business you can get into because of its high ROI. Imagine registering a domain for less than $10 and someone willingly paying you more than $100 because he needs it. Unfortunately, a lot of us here don't approach it strategically. As simple as the business is with low barrier of entry, there are lots of tips, tricks and secrets involved to be successful.

Selling domain names doesn't end with find end users. What business idea is behind the name? Does the domain has good meaning? Is there an easy alternative domain the potential buyer can easily pick up and forgo your own? A lot of questions have to be asked and answered.

This is why I always advocate creating a blog in your area of passion or interest and maintain it as your official blog. Monetize your blog with Google Adsense and affiliate products while you build up your domain names portfolio to the level of tipping point. For less than $100 per year, you can maintain your blog. From Google Adsense and affiliate marketing, you can reasonably make $300 per month as a newbie or beginner. This will remain as your permanent online business.

Do you know that some domainers went on domain registration spree for coronavirus related keywords? But there are some of us with old underground health blogs that started discussing news, issues, dangers, first aid precautions, etc of getting infected with coronavirus and her sister, COVID-19.

Online information seekers go to Google, Bing, etc to learn more about this deadly virus. From clicks on your site, you're surprised how much you can earn a day. Whether you sell your domain or not immediately, you're not worried because you're making money from your side hustle.

What I discover with most of us is writing content. We are so used to "short hand" this day in our day to day communications. Giv me ur luv so dat I giv u my moni." This will not work. If you don't sell a domain name and it is good, you have to keep on renewing it until the buyer comes. He will come as scarcity is part of what sells a domain.

Imagine someone just sold WashYourHands.com for $17,500 from DNJournal.com domain name sold. Do you think he got it just yesterday? No! From who is records, it was first created in 1998. The current seller or earlier owners have held on to it until coronavirus prevention tips started telling us "wash your hands," "clean your phone," etc. That is strategic business you believe in i.e. holding on to your ideas until it materializes.

Sir if I may chip in.
It's a good work u did noticing the pattern. And when i started reading what u wrote above i started to think most are taken, and then u said it yourself, u had to give up checking.

So from my perception, not all words will qualify for this pattern.

I don't perceive slaughter will qualify, i mean i wouldn't name my brand slaughter.

On a number of times, I have thought someone might have succeeded in selling the names I couldn't sell even at low prices at far higher prices.
Lol. This took me down memory lane. During my early days at NP, I once sold a name at auction for I think less than $20. The guy promised to give me, I think 5% if he succeeds in selling it. He merely listed it on Undeveloped, at $800 BIN. It sold few months later, and sure he gave me 5%

Time and chance, wrapped with Grace.

Well that's you and many blacks won't either,

But with whites and there mentality it's a bit different.

The black in me also wouldn't want to name my brand slaughter

But suprisingly people answer slaughter as a surname in America, I checked it.

Slaughter.com was also taken since 1995

If I was to use it as a brand probably a Fast Food brand or something related to where the kill animals and sell there meat like a butcherer but that's me.

What will you say about Lucifr.com ?

Bad contonation right?

@Codemaniacs clear example of what I meant by u can't eat someone's share.

The 800$ was d seller's share and 5%+$20 was tranxo 's

If was not destined so, tranxo would have sold that domain. But it wasn't his "share"
Na turn by turn. We share the same sentiments. Mind you, he offered that % voluntarily. How many NPers would do that. I believe it was meant to happen that way in order for us to get our own share of the bounty. Lol.

The only reason I wouldn't take it is because of the length. Hacks are often better when they are as short as possible.

But then, we all know that strange things happen in this industry. Lol.

tranxo didn't have proper knowledge on domaining that's he said "During my early days at NP".

if he had the knowledge the seller had then he would have sold the domain.

it has nothing to do with destiny.

tranxo was low on knowledge and had no expert or experience domain seller to teach him..

nothing is "destined so", over the years tranxo has trained himself, gotten knowledge from others and his improved, and can get better sales now than before due to his experience levels now.
I will search and see if I can recall the name. Then I will know if I have such a name today, what my current experience would want me to do.

Lolzzzzz

Funny to see some one in same mindset

The one you found is made up or dictionary word ?

If it's dictionary word and it follows the hack pattern then do justice to it.

With made-up words that follow this pattern am not too sure..

For example Unbreakr.com is made but breakr.com is dictionary word

The reason I said dictionary word is because of type in traffic most times people buy this coz of typo traffic type in...

Read your post again, you started with quality keyword names then deviated to regular dictionary words. They are two different thing.

At the bolded, omitted vowel names like Flickr, tumblr etc has been a thing for long now and the trend has been around for long, some call it dropping vowels from a brand name and might even an outdated trend by now because back in 2016 someone wrote and article on it, check here : https://money.howstuffworks.com/flickr-tumblr-scribd-why-dropping-vowels-brand-names-is-popular.htm

Like you correctly mentioned the best names are long taken and gone, any other trial and error stuff now might be on Weak keywords and might well be a hard time selling or total waste of money because firms in their right senses don't go for such word and those who do, would have a very strong reason to justify their choice.

Although you might be lucky to find some decent ones only in places like auctions or expired list. But will be hard.

Peace cool

A brief story about the Flit//Pay
Registered the name on 21st of February 2020 few minutes after dropping. I was happy nobody back ordered it.
I quickly set bin at epik for $1500 without researching on the right price for the domain. Immediately, I emailed my target buyer, Flit//Pay.in, a crypto exchanger in India.
He replied saying the price is too high. Asking me to give him my best price.
I told him to give me his best offer instead. He didn't reply me.
Few hours later, I got an inbound offer of $350. I stupidly negotiated to $500. He declined my offer and said when I am ready to sell at $350 I should let him know.

Few minutes later, Rob congratulated me for getting that name and that I should price it at 5BTC (madoo). He said this after researching on the name as well.
Mumu Me!!! I had already priced it at $1500 and contacted the guy that Rob was targeting too. I explained everything to him. He said he will try to negotiate the deal for me. Buy honestly I had spoilt everything.

Long story short, the person that made the inbound offer of $350 was a broker sent by the dot IN owner (I didn't know this earlier) . I stood my ground at $1500 but later we settled at $900 because I was weak at negotiating. Negotiation took 2 weeks. The name is now redirected to his dot In.
I learnt a lot from this deal. Truly, I now understand why Rob said some of us sell for cheap.
