It is sad that the Nigeria population are legally illiterate. What the president declared yesterday would have essentially triggered a civil war in some advanced nation. The fundamental basis of our independence, sovereignty and the labour of our founding fathers are being taken away while we applaud the intervention, damn the consequences of abandoning the quartine, it's our life, no govt has the right to do what Buhari has done to the people. But, what do I know? 3 Likes

Thank you Sir. He never lockdown Borno state despite d killings and insecurity. This will be d end of democracy in Nigeria. Revolt will start soon and spread throught d country and am glad, our incompetent leaders will have nowhere to run to. That overfed one in Ekiti too is declaring Curfew tommorrow:his only achievement in office. Sane leaders would have: Declare emmergency in our rotten health sector Import drugs, Renovate delapedated buildings and build temporal wards Employ temporal health workers nationwide Mobilize d health sector by paying outstanding dues Make every filling stations, hospitals, road blocks, schools, garages test centers Make ambulances available at every test centers for transport Orientate d people Lockdown does nothing than spread the virus silently.Infected people wont b able to access medical facilities and result to self help thereby spreading d virus. We have useless leaders in this country at all levels. 3 Likes |

There's no reason to lockdown entire states, this issue could have been resolved by shutting down airports and seaports. 90% of the COVID 19 cases in 9ja came from travelers. Everyone that came into this country for the past 60 days should be tested including anyone they came in contact with, no exemptions! This is what sane countries are doing but a zoo like 9ja obviously lost its sanity long ago....SMH! |

Mr man he never said it was wrong to close down the borders, but that it should be done within the law by seeking permission from the national assembly so that it doesn't become a norm in the society. For democracy to thrive, it necessary to follow constitutional laid down rules and regulations in implementing the president's idea. The president is not wrong by closing the borders, but the way he went about it is constitutionally wrong... johnmartus: 3 Likes |
