If they couldn't carry out tests, they should have insisted on test results for all intending passengers that was less than 24hrs prior to arriving Nigeria. But they did nothing.

By next 2-3 weeks there will be an exponential explosion in number of cases in Nigeria.

It is that time that they will say ONLY mass vaccination can save us.

Bill gate has nothing to do with this.
He doesn't have a vaccine for testing.

If you have been following the news, you will realize that most countries reaction
is to do nothing or do little. That has nothing to do with non-existent vaccines.

Remember the Ebola outbreak?
The US was actually hiding the potential vaccine and will not share it.

You are probably confusing regular paid pharmaceutical testing in normal time with emergency

I tried to contribute to a solution here, and I was banned. I simply laughed, because I know cases will explode in the coming weeks even with the lockdown and their will be panic and unrest. Obviously Nairaland mods are not only stupid but ignorant. We've always fed for ourselves in this country, we provide our own basic amenities, electricity, job, water. Nigerians know they shouldn't depend on the government! Now we're in health crises, people who tried getting tested described it as nearly impossible or selective testing. How then will a common man who gets the virus supposed to survive it? We have to do what we have to do, they keep deleting all treads that share any remedy or solution like we're supposed to wait for the government, same government that neglected us all this years. People in ICU are complaining of being neglected and not Fed. All I can say is do all you can not to get infected, and if you do and can't get tested or treated search Reddit for solutions.
