We want clear answers. We are not in a war emergency.

Prof, have you read the constitution and what it empowers the president to do to save your life?

Prof, I love you very much, but you are very very wrong, this is an emergency, I guess it is not to you because you and your family members are not on a COVID death bead fighting to stay alive.

I don't get the silly yanga some Nigerians are making over this issue, we well-read and very educated and influential man who should be using his influence to spread a positive message and to educate his fellow men and women about the deadly virus and how to stay safe, practice good hygiene and obey government orders is busy fighting the government instead of fighting the disease.

This careless and irresponsible attitude against the government that's trying to protect Nigerians gives lawless and irresponsible people like him a false sense of awareness

This is just too irritating.

The government is not your enemy, COVID-19 is your enemy.

How is d govt trying to protect Nigerians? How did d virus enter d country? What was d govts attitude towards ensuring d virus didn't enter Nigeria? Who is treating d people who have tested positive? Abba kyari was flown in an air ambulance to Lagos for special treatment. What is d fate of those who tested positive before he did? Why were d other abuja patients not airlifted to Lagos for treatment?

He could be making sense in some ways but like they said no man is an Island or you can’t know everything, we keep learning until the very last day!!! I’m very sorry to say this here but Prof don’t know this one.. he’s read and vast, so he should be able to know this simple thing before coming out here or does he think that we Nigerians don’t know sometimes or understand grammar... Learned Nigerians can really take their people for granted and impose rubbish on mere minds..., So if you’re close to Prof please educate him on this one about WHO or PHEIC measures for outbreaks control!!! He can find it online or still consult a health practitioner... Thank you

How did d virus enter d country in d first place? How are those who have tested positive being taken care of? Why is kyari being flown to Lagos for special treatment while others who tested positive in abuja are left behind?

I won't lie. This lockdown can't even be sustainable for 5 days. We like copying oyibo but can't even do it well.
How can u lock down a place so big without providing social welfare for the people. What about people that survive on daily earnings? The other countries that lock down, provide food, money and other benefits for their people, but mumu leaders will just want to lock people up just like that.
From day 5, people will start running out from their houses, it's better the "audio" corona virus kills them than hunger to kill them.
Buhari had the time and opportunity to just quarantine and isolate just few travellers coming in, but he didn't, now he wants to lockdown over 30million people. Medicine after death

instead of barking and blaming the government, you have every right to disobey the government, the government made their move, feel free to make yours too, it's your choice.

Mr man he never said it was wrong to close down the borders, but that it should be done within the law by seeking permission from the national assembly so that it doesn't become a norm in the society.

For democracy to thrive, it necessary to follow constitutional laid down rules and regulations in implementing the president's idea.

The president is not wrong by closing the borders, but the way he went about it is constitutionally wrong...

Exactly! But that's what most people don't know. Nigerians don't read, and they don't think undecided

From my observation of this country, most of us hatred has blindfolded our reasoning.

If buhari no lockdown dem go say America and oda countries don lockdown, wetin bubu de wait 4 to lockdown. e lockdown prof de say y bubu go lockdown. haba sef!

On a more serious note, does prof know the content of the constitution? Understanding of the spirit and letters of the constitution is not by grammar. Now I understand better when they say gray hair and education does not translate to wisdom.

Everything Is not science and Technology!!
Some individuals can kill for Cristiano and Messi and don't care about about who a great scientist is!!

Soyinka is the only Nobel Prize winner we have in the entire Nigeria history, you have to respect that!!!

What has Nigerian scientist, Engineer won globally??

Nobel Prize is the highest individual award of any career!!!

Show some respect!!

Is there any other way fight this thing besides the lock down? We need to contain it and at the same time identify the already exposed individuals who will show symptoms within the period.
Other countries too thought that they could fight this thing wouldn't using China's approach of total lock down. Did it work for them? The answer is no. Remember, China herself adopted the method when she realised that the battle was being lost
