This is not a good move or adjustment from the police. But it will be safer to just suspend all transactions with the street sellers for now because many of them can be careless and start spreading this virus around. An infected seller can infect every household in the street. Better to just be on your own at this time. A meal a day while you sit at home during lockdown of 2 weeks can keep one going.... A word for the wise. 13 Likes 5 Shares |

Confusion here and there. This is the result when the president makes order and disappears. In a sane atmosphere, after president’s speech in this type of situation, he would take couples of questions to clarify some grey areas that may not be clear to common man 173 Likes 12 Shares |

Opexzy: Only people that render essential services is to be allowed to operate.....so as to contain the spread. If one infected person goes to make her hair at a particular shop......there is a possibility that every other person that goes to that shop also gets infected.....and then the virus keeps spreading among the occupants of the streets. 31 Likes 2 Shares |

This is a nice and thoughtful move by the govt and the Nigeria police. Stores in the streets should open to accommodate the basic needs of people living in that community. We will survive. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Elkana also said policemen on duty have been charged to show compassion and sympathy while enforcing the orders because no one prepared for much situation. The way police bosses speak ehn, u will start wondering if its actually the same Nigerian police. If u have had opportunities to meet with DPOs of big police stations, the way they will treat you especially if they sense that you are responsible and well read, you will be surprised. 10 Likes |
