Diana is a better skilled fighter than Thor no doubt. Diana is faster than Thor. In experience I'd say they are almost equally matched.

Thor just one ups her in terms of raw strength and durability.

Both of them killing god-like characters or cosmic beings negates their advantages. They are both experienced in that aspect.
She's also defeated Circe.
