blinking001:It's a reflection of the neglect and hurt Nigerians have experienced over the years. I don't support this.... no way... But is the govt part of the problem 100% A child who grew up in a society where he knows after education is instantaneous job and starting a family will not, I repeat will not be contaminated by the kind of corruption found in our DNA. Just today a bag of pure water now sells 300N against 150N, is the government responsible.... Yes, in order nations bottled water is a luxury good because already the govt provides pipe borne drinking safe water. Everything is a reflection of the decay over the years. 3 Likes |

SalesConsultant: It doesn't necessarily it's from someone in first bank. It can be from nepa Bill's or other payments u made recently like from POS. Recently I submitted an application in a hospital and a week later someone called me by my name claiming he was from the ministry of health. I knew it was scam sha from my psychological impulse plus the way he asked which hospital I worked in. He was posing as an agent for federal government immunization program and wanted me to meet his friend somewhere for some form of contract. So I told him to give me 1 min to find a biro and jot down his friends number. That's how I blocked him. It was similar to one i experienced many years ago. The guy even made me speak with someone who sounded British( to use my money and buy certain electricity installation parts and sell to the man). Back then I recognised the voice of the black man as the nepa official that came to do some work for us about 3 weeks back. Here is a .message that was sent to me last week. Abeg make una help me flash the number till the scammer life frustrate.

allytinted: I think it's the BVN database that's been compromised because when they state full name and date of birth, they mention the bank with which you got enrolled for BVN. It's the amateurs that say "your bank" |

blinking001: You guys keep on talking like illiterates.. Thieves are everywhere in the world but the difference is in the structures and systems in place to catch law breakers and bring them to book. Stop absolving leaders of irresponsibility.. Everyone cannot be saints. Damn 3 Likes |

slimanyd: Well, the person whose money was withdrawn compromised his password. If they call you on phone, don't give anybody your password or pin. Don't use your ATM cards in sites that are not secure. Mind where you put in your details. The issue of fraudsters calling bank customers have been happening for some years now. It is not peculiar to any bank but all banks. I suspect chams bvn database for Nigerians have either been hacked or compromised. Or maybe the numbers are chronological and easy to guess. I was surprised that when I went to do my national I'd card, immediately they put my bvn, all my info popped up, name address, phone numbers etc. Imagine how many points national I'd card are processed. How much do you pay these ppl that have access to these volume of information. This info is definitely leaking from bvn side and law enforcement agents should trace it. It is easy if they want to do it. For eg, if they want to trace a reported case, they should check access log to the persons bvn. Who checked it? From which IP, from which network, which address? Go to the location and arrest the fraudster and do further investigation from there. Some of these fraudsters are not sophisticated to mask IP. Even if they do,they should still be traced. Obinwanne and friends were traced even with their sophistication. I met an old woman crying in the banking hall this afternoon and I felt so much pity for her. Ppl are so heartless. If this mama dies now, someone somewhere will be happy his hustle pays , shouting soft work upandan. 4 Likes |

Most of this people go online especially Facebook to beg for funds from mainly celebrities and in the end post their account details too. A simple attempt to initiate a transfer will show her full name so there you have it. 2 Likes |

OnyeObodo:So you are Fsars? Is it true that an average SARS personnel has killed more innocent people than criminals? Well I want to believe you are one of the few good ones, but if reverse is the case, better turn a new leaf because karma is real. You will suffer for your I'll treatment of innocent citizens and your children and children after them will also suffer from your evil. That's what my Bible told me. Have a great day. |
