The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife as part of her efforts to bring succour to the poor and the vulnerable in Anambra Central Senatorial District during this time our society is challenged by the Covid-19 pandemic, has continued to reachout to constituents in their homes, streets and places of business.

Today, her team visited more communities within the Senatorial District to sensitize constituents on the Covid-19 pandemic, and distribute relief and preventive materials to the people.


Recall that the team led by the Legislative Assistant to Senator Uche Ekwunife, Mrs Ifeyinwa Chinwuko had commenced the Covid-19 outreach programme on Sunday. The programme is targeted at creating awareness about the virus, and bringing succour to constituents. Some of the items being distributed are bags of rice, hand sanitizers, face masks, hand gloves and sensitization handbills.

Must Iyom play politics with everything?

The said distribution is largely for photo taking. If not, where are the said stuffs to be distributed?

This scam is actually being orchestrated by Senator Uche Ekwunife ward leaders who meet with old women, pretend to be handing a 1kg bag of rice to them, only to take their pictures for media publicity stunt.

Iyom should show us where the stuffs being distributed is whare housed and the modus for sharing.
