My contention is that more than fifty officers couldn't have been redeployed by Nigerian Army just to just to punish General Adeniyi for making a video. After all, he assumed the position after a similar redeployment in the past.

He wasn't sacked but redeployed for his safety....Sahara reporters exposed him and the bokoharram already know there was generals fronting them so he will be the target. And the video was suppose to be classified. US army faces them too but they don't leak.

The general was briefing a superior in that video about the situation on ground and you think he's a coward? This video was leaked to the public by who knows,so please get your facts right. My father was an airforce officer and elder brother army officer. I grew up in the military base so i know how it feels when your father or uncle go to war and not return .

I believe that video was leaked. His consistent use of "sir" in the video indicates he was addressing a superior officer concerning what they were experiencing on the battlefield as against what they were told.

It's only those who don't have loved ones in the military that will not understand what the general said.
Why was there no air support when the batlle was going on.

This days you need drones, reconsssinance and fighter planes to do damage to the enemies before the ground force comes in to clear.

The video wasn't meant for the public in the first place. It was meant for the chief of army staff. For a General in the army to use the word "Sir" it means he is talking to his superior. And I believe that was the means of communication. Though it is so unfortunate. And the means of communication is archaic and primitive. Paraventure there is another means, he wouldn't have use that primitive means to disseminate information to his superior boss.
Nigeria system are all in shambles. A lot of things are going wrong because we are not telling ourselves the truth.
Gen. Adeniyi, since this is a redeployment, take it as a fate. Let them deploy someone from the north to go lead the team. Who knows maybe God uses this leaked video to take away the untimely death on your head.

If you are not part of the system, you can understand how the military run. And your comment exposes your naivety.
There is no comment in the videotape that is wrong. He knows that comment or complains is meant to his boss's consumption alone.so, he respectfully conveys his message to his boss. But I think where the error comes from is the leaked video where he was also part of the story.
