Good evening wonderful people. Hope y'all are staying safe and at home. I have few questions please

1. Is lexus ES350 2009 model good for Uber/bolt business in Nigeria?
2. Between Owerri, Uyo and Calabar, which is a better destination for this business?

Please if you're doing Uber/bolt in Owerri, Calabar or Uyo, do let me kniw

Why Lexus my broda

That's a premium brand.

N Bolt and Uber don't give a flying f**k the kind of exotic machine you bring on board.

Na still #65/km and #10/ min wt 20% service fee.

Pls reconsider using a Lexus 2009 for CHEAP fares.

If I had such a car, I wudnt even try it.

I am highly disappointed with you to say the least,.. From pass post I read about you . You seem to be very intelligent person.. Am starting to feel that am much smarter than most people on nairaland..
And my exposure living outside the country has shape who I am and how things are done in a sane world. So let me explain to you my point of view.. It is only because of you and you only am going to break down my point....

Narcissist. You talk like a little toy, you sure gonna shock your wife with nags. Let assume you've got some little cash, a bit of business acumen in *uber* but you have an attitude issue and pride that can ruin it all. Slow down bro, attitude is everything. I have a billionaire (not millionaire) older friend that lives in the usa, whenever he comes around, he talks like a typical Nigerian as much as he can to avoid being praised by some people or seen differently, hence he saves himself from being kidnapped and other Shiit going down here. empty barrel makes the loudest noise. Real men don't blabs

Bros, if you have the money, go for it. But if you are going for it because it would aid in getting requests quickly, I beg to differ. I use an Infinix Note 5 and I've not had any issues with getting requests (if there are), or failed trips (except for one occasion due to exhausted data). Work with a good phone with at least 4GB RAM and you should be fine.
bro pls Iphone 7 any better

There are various cars good for this business; ranging from popular options like Hyundai, Toyota Corolla, camry (Big daddy), honda civic, someone even uses benz c230.

But the popular sentiment is that corolla is the best for this business interms of fuel economy, cost of maintenance and strength but there is another school of thought driven by dru23 that honda civic is a better option than corolla with the claim that it is more fuel efficient than corolla, less cost of maintenance, better interior and even comes cheaper than corolla.
With civic, it is quicker to recoup your investment than corolla because it is less expensive.

So in essence, you may narrow your optons to corolla, civic and seek more advices on these brands as regards to ehailing

Less I forget, Uber accepts 2000 upward while bolt accepts from 2003 upward. You may consider nothing less than 2003 brand so that your car is accepted across all platforms.

For your car registration on uber, you need

1. Valid insurance docs
2. Lagos state road worthiness.
3. Vehicle inspection report from the center accredited by any of these ehailing platforms.

In terms of investment, you can either take the rental or hire purchase options.

I think I've tried a bit.

BTW, I need a car for rental.

Good luck.
bro how about Honda city,is it any good I'm buying after the corona lockdown and I'm driving it myself

Have you consider selling off this car while you use the proceed to buy a suitable car for the business. I'm sure you will have money left.

You might end up regretting ur decision of using such and expensive car which requires huge money to maintain for ehailing on Nigeria roads.

Many have failed trying it out and that includes me.

Anyways, you can still give it a try if you dont mind. But one thing I'm very sure about is you'll finally sell of that car but by then the value must have depreciated due to the savage from the hustle.

Make the right choice now!
