Mine was actually my sister's wedding which was held 2 weeks ago, Everything went cool, not untill one among the Alfa's (Islamic cleric) we invited, ran away with all the money they made, up-till this moment the Alfa has not been caught,All his close contact could not even trace him...... 5 Likes |

I was my friend’s maid of honor. I was supposed to be with her by Thursday evening because of rehearsal.Had some last minute shopping to do at the mall. While there, I lost my car key & had no spare key.To make matters worse, the key ignition was not the original that the car came with. A key had broken in the ignition previously & they had changed it, so even reading the VIN to a dealer for a copy of the key would have been useless. My head wasn’t thinking that I could call a tow truck. Got a hotel across the mall & spent the night. Next day which was Friday some friends who were driving the 6 hours for the wedding venue came to pick up some items I had bought for the wedding .I had gone to the mall to figure out the car issue & my family was in Canada. God! See confusion. I let the friends go and told them l’d catch a flight. I later realized I didn’t pay attention to the time. Had to change flight to Saturday morning.God my friend was mad as hell, her husband, then fiancé is the one who kept calling me.Arrived in Philadelphia at 11am, Hair wasn’t done because the plan was for her hair dresser to do it. Had to rush from the airport to the hairdresser .Though I had looked for the makeup artist, I was the last arrival & she had to do my makeup last. It was done terribly because she was late for another job & I had left my own makeup at home trusting a makeup artist would do a perfect job.Was writing the speech during my flight, but it turned out good & received some nice feedback .LoL. The entire bridal party had to change hotels that morning of the wedding claiming there were hygiene issues. Not to mention one of the bridesmaids who seemed jealous because she wasn’t chosen as the maid of honor.I nearly cursed that girl out I swear!Anyway, the rest of the wedding went on well, but it had really started off terribly. Am glad they had a beautiful wedding because the devil had showed his face but me & her pastor took a moment to pray before the bridal party entered into the church. 5 Likes |

Some years ago at my big bro wedding. The bride's family decided to serve dere own peopl based on the arrangment we had with dem. The stupid caterer we got makeaway with d meat and refuse to bring d food to reception. The cake was so bad that d husband refused to feed his wife with after he had tasted it wen d wife was feeding him, he only whispered to d wife "babe u cant eat it" . Long story short, most of d grooms peopl didnt eat dt day and dos thT ate did without meat. We learnt our lesson instantly cos since den we hav allowed d bride's fMily to takia of d reception and we still do mKe little plan incase dem no won do straight 3 Likes |

I did my traditional and church wedding same day but we had planned to use the trad as reception, so on the wedding day Methodist Rvrd said no they don't wed people that are not wedded traditionally. We got creative and decided to just let my wife give me wine, sanp pics and then proceed to the church, round of there and rush back. Na there village people start, say e get one money dey we never clear for list. Hmmmn I thought it was a joke, they insisted as begged no way, na so I declare no more wedding, though I was in pains. I gathered my people and addressed them, I told my babe say we go see later. Omo see cry, she rush go meet her uncle jack am for cloth, say she go kill the old man if then no soft for me. Her mum started crying, two seconds everything burst, them de beg my bae, some de beg me Mel I no go. I form boss pose one corner de watch the Zeeworld lol inside. Thanks to my mother in-law she calm everything down, pacify all parties and Las Las she kneel down give me wine, I put some big cash in the cup. We took pictures together, so this whole drama delayed our going to church and they we're waiting for us there. Rvrd para, but DAT one no worry me 11 Likes |

I drove to the venue wit my friends early to make sure everything was set and nothing takes us by surprise. All was in place and I was even welcoming guests. Meanwhile my bride was stuck in traffic for over an hour. Na so I begin sweat Then we forgot our vows at the printer and a friend had to rush and pick them. Stuck in traffic again. More sweat From then on, even when my friends tried to calm things down I was so nervous, I was sweating all through. Even pastor use am yab me. But when reception start! Even Mrs confess say her husband de excited To be honest I don't remember much from my wedding. Even people who attended. I only remember when I see them in pictures 5 Likes |

foleskay: Mrpsly247: chukzyfcbb: Mrpsly247: So she left without no one, just her family who came to pick her to church, We were all there looking at the tailor, once she finish your dress u go outside to look for bike or Keke to take you to church. The first person got there when they were almost done with joining and blessing. Kaii I felt for he bride, imagine entering the church alone, not even one person behind you, wedding that you've been dreaming all your life Anyways only few of us could make it to church, the rest of us they just texted to say church is over and we should just go to the reception venue. Our dress was ugly AF. I was just praying not to see anyone I know, it was that horrible.. u just have to wear it cos you want to support your friend. When we were leaving hotel room, she brought out a new material and was sewing and then told us not to lock our room door that she will still be inside working so we left her inside without paying much attention . Getting to the reception venue with other ladies, we met the bride outside already waiting, the hall packed full, live band playing and etc Where is my dress? The bride asked What dress My reception dress? The woman didn't give u any dress to give me Ohhhhh, that's the material she just remove and was about to start making when we left the hotel room Omo this bride burst cry again, her family and husband were threatening fire We will arrest this tailor She must sleep in cell How can she spoil someone's Happy day like dat See so much anger in the air, we rushed to buy malt and milk and mix for the bride to drink, she was beginning to run temperature Everyone was trying to persuade her to enter with her wedding gown. She refused, said she didn't plan her day like that. Later Sha, she and her husband and some family members went back to the hotel to meet the tailor, we waited for hours, guests were beggining to come out to ask questions, they were sharing food already, bride and the groom no where to be found. Las las, she came back wearing her reception dress, I think they waited till she finished it and I hear a big fight happened at the hotel with the tailor and the bride's family Arrrrgghh, the gown was badly made, not ironed , or pressed, all the flair standing in am awkward way. She almost couldn't dance , she was exhausted and just wanted to go and rest I felt for her, can't imagine my happiest day like that. You see tailors? Fear them. I think she didn't disturb d tailor enough. You give cloth to tailor and you're not calling her everyday, going to her place like everyday just to make sure your work is going on. But this tailor gave my friend so much assurance that she legit trusted her so much I dunno if she was later arrested. I left even before they finish reception 20 Likes 1 Share |
