FOLLOWING the proliferation of new coronavirus cases in neighboring states, Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade has imposed new restrictions on residents

These are: No citizen or resident of the state will be allowed to leave home without a face mask from Friday.

Failure to adhere to this directive will lead to the arrest and quarantine of the offender for 14 days.
The Cross River State garment factory has been mandated to produce face masks to be distributed free to citizens and residents alike to meet with the demand.

Those who for one reason or the other are unable to get masks from government before the new restrictions kick in are advised to purchase theirs from shops selling the item.

All public gatherings remain banned markets should remain closed except where foodstuff is sold.

All exit and entry points into the state are now completely shut. No human or vehicular movement will be allowed into the state under any disguise

Sincerely our government doesn't have any sense whatsoever.

There is nothing on ground to prevent hiking of price when we know Nigerians are mostly worldly and not Godly

For instance nose mask is 3 for #50 before but now it's 1 for #250 without hike in fuel price


When making this kind of decisions they ought to place something upfront to prevent hike in price Or give people free but all na lie. You give people first before making policy not policy with audio giving

All in the name of we are saving you they will still create more problem

Even WHO says don't put on mask unless you have the symptoms or virus or taking care of those with it but our own government policies are overboard and without sense maybe they want to enrich one of their families

the government must buy it and give the masses free. Not giving in necessary order. Everybody has right to his own life. Loll. Rubbish order

All states should adopt this system. Lagos, Ogun and other states that imposed partial lock-down should distribute face masks to masses and enforce its usage. This will reduce the risk of contracting the virus.
Opening of market between the hours 10-2pm without enforcing the use of these PPE will not help matters oo.
God save us from this epidemic.
