US Unemployment Hit A Record High of 6.6m From 3.3m Last Week--BBC by SocialFinance: 2:50pm On Apr 02, 2020 |
US jobless claims hit another record.. Death from convid-19 now above 5,000. The number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefit has surged to 6.65m, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to upend the country's economy. The actual figure is believed to be even higher as many people have reported jammed phone lines and difficulties with filing their claims online. It's also worth noting that some kinds of workers, such as people working part-time, do not qualify for unemployment benefit. The latest figure eclipses the previous week's record of nearly 3.3m people, according to Department of Labor data. The rush, which is unprecedented in modern US history, has overwhelmed many state offices handling the claims. Car firms have halted production and air travel has fallen dramatically. According to economists, a fifth of the US workforce is now on some form of lockdown. www.bbc.com/news/live/world-52130552 Lalasticlala food don come 1 Like 2 Shares |

rusher14: Trump is the best thing that has happened to America since Delano Roosevelt , y'all all saw how he made America a 22 trillion dollars Economy in just 3 years bringing unemployment to record low levels , the virus has only vindicated Trump's call for America to move it's production back home and the rest to India a position all Americans can clearly now see , the Virus has opened the eyes of doubting Americans to the threat of what Trump has been saying that's it's not safe to depend on China for American production and now Americans will rally more around Trump because he is the right leader they need for a time like this so he can: 1 . Kick start the Economy 2 .Bring American production back home 3. Resuscitate and grow the Economy . As it's stand the Chinese should know by now the the 1.9 trillion debt America owes has vamoosed because America under Trump will claim it as compensation and even demand another 3 trillion dollars in further compensation so the eventual outcome of this virus will be 1 . Consolidation of American Nationalism 2 . Increase Unity between NATO member 3 . Landslide victory fro Trump at the polls 4. Forfeiture of chinas debt 5. Desizing of the Chinese Economy as the west cuts it to size. 6 . Emergeance of India as the new pride and giant of Asia as America and the west moves it's production there . 1 Like |

More people are getting cure and recovering. However implementation of the high unemployment in America is clampdown on undocumented immigrants who may be asked to leave. 1 Like |

We can never forget. Actually karma is the best thing that happened in USA at this moment. We can never forgets Africa never forgets That Trump indirectly force or discourages Americans from helping during Ebola crises in Africa. It will go down in history. USA yesterday alone, over 29000 cases and almost 1000 deaths. Somehow, I don't feel anything for them unlike Italy and Spain.
