Hi Gurus,
I submitted my application yesterday and today they sent me Letter for Biometrics to expire on April 30th.
My last Biometrics was in Dec 2014 and still valid. With this lockdown I can’t move an inch . P’ease Who submitted recently and what was it like?

You DON'T need to undergo a fresh biometrics as your previous biometrics enrollment is valid for ten (10) decade i.e 2024. The Canadian embassy started processing your application 24hrs after you had submitted your application. I believe you got an email during this time that stated you've an update in your application, and when you logged in, you couldn't see any changes made on your profile. This is called a ghost update and a sign that your application process had just begun. Keep the hope alive.

Sadly a negative decision will be reached on the remaining applications, since the PA is already affected.

Good day every one,am a newbie seeking for a study visa in Canada already have a college in mind buh d thing is dat I want to switch careers. Already hv a Bsc in Food science and technology buh I wat to apply for practical nursing by applying for a diploma program. My question is, will such decision affect me.
One last thing, it would be hard to proof relevance in Nigeria because the nigerian nursing system doesn't have practical nurses (LPN).
So I wonder how you want to explain to the VO that you are going to spend millions studying a course without a job prospect in Nigeria.
My advice is use an MSC in food science or something related to your previous education or work experience for the application. When you get to canada, you can then switch programs.

Hello everyone, I just got my admission letter from Carleton University. Am going for a second bachelors degree, my first bachelors degree was in computer Engineering, the second which I just got the admission is Information Technology (Information Resource Management). My question now is whether I should state that am going for my second degree or not and what is the possibility that I won’t be flagged
Whatever you do, DO NOT DENY YOUR PREVIOUS EDUCATION. It can come back to bite you in the bum. Example, they may or may not refuse this visa irrespective and you would have deprived yourself from qualifying for Express entry or other programs.

Hello guys, I have some people around me who are planning to apply for admission at Brandon University. Which of these results are good to go and which one doesn't stand a chance at all. Thank you
None!
Brandon university requires a minimum of C5 in maths and english.
Only exception they may consider is if the person has a post secondary degree. Then they would use the uni or college transcript as basis for the admission.

Please if you have gotten PGD/C admission before with HND, kindly assist. Have upper credit in business administration and management, but will like to switch to human resource management.

Please assist with list of affordable institutions in Canada. Being checking online too and have sent mail to some of the institutions, but keep getting negative feedback.

Please assist.

@frankrobbn1 @all the gurus in this house.

Please guys help me out. My GCMS just dropped. Already repackaging my application. Kindly advice.

Lanrelala:
I greet the gurus in the house.

@frankrobbn1
@other gurus

I need your help guys! Please. I got an admission to study PGD Business Adminstration at Langara college. I paid $6000 tuition deposit.

Rejection letter dropped with these generic reasons:

Travel history
Employment situation
Family ties
Lack of funds.

I have a Bsc in computer science, not eligible for masters so I applied for PGD. In my SOP I explained I am changing careers to entrepreneurship and showed a history of experience in business line since 2014 till date.(perhaps that's why I wasn't rejected for purpose of visit).

I am currently unemployed but have a startup am trying to grow and explained this as my reason for wanting to study business adminstration.

Sponsor is my brother. We do not use same surname. my surname is my grandfather's name why he used my father's name.

Documents submitted:
His business registration
Tax clearance
House documents
Acct with balance of 40m

Transcript
Waec
Police clearance
Sop
Imm forms

Please how do I proceed I already ordered GCMS notes but I learned they are currently having too many request and the notes won't be ready till 60days.

My school is to resume May and I'm thinking of reapplying asap. I need help please.

Hello House, this tutorial is meant for ONLINE APPLICANTS ONLY
If you experiencing some form of Delay because of the documents you want to upload is larger than the maximum file size given to us by CIC, well, this worked for me and I am sure it will work for you, Notwithstanding if you have a better Method of doing this please Kindly Share. No knowledge is wasted HERE.

So, first of all, we know there are uploading sections for some documents already.
Example
1. Letter of acceptance (FROM YOUR SCHOOL)
2. International Passport
3. Digital photo
4. Medical

All the above listed has a particular uploading area, Read well so you don't make mistakes.
I also want to believe that even if you scan any of the above documents it won't exceed 4mb.

Now for the financial Support section, If you are confused about which document should be in this section then you have to go back on some Pages where Qudkom made a detailed post about this.

Now let us get started.

You are advised to Merge EVERY DOCUMENT relating to the finance aspect of your application together, Now If you want to do that, goto Sejda dot com, or ilovepdf dot com,and Merge those files and download them back on Your System.

Now here comes the Trick to Compressing our document, go to google or download PrimoPDF here, https://files.downloadnow.com/s/software/14/46/85/65/InternationalPrimoPDF.exe?token=1585939823_7c3aa5086c060f7ede5899fa64578664&fileName=InternationalPrimoPDF.exe

Install and close it.

Open your downloaded finance document, Hold "Ctrl + P" like you want to print, It will take you to another interface where you will be able to select your printing options, Now Select Printer and you will see a drop-down menu, Now Select PrimoPDF and Click on Print.

Wait for the progress bar to be done, Mind you it's not printing but trying to interface with the PrimoPDF software, When that's done, the PrimoPDF software will Popup and You will click on CREATE PDF, it will ask you to save it. FINISH

That's the magic ...

NOTE: The picture Quality might reduce a little.
