It's like soldiers have a special assignment to silence Deltans. Not quite long, a community who retaliated the herdsmen attack in the state had their youths massacred by the soldiers on a revenge mission. I don't know if soldiers are now part of the Fulani Herdsmen.

Let us be diplomatic in saying things from the right view.

I also condemn the act. The soldier man shouldn't have been killed by the mobs. He was on duty under the order of the FG to restrict movement as a result of the deadly virus.

Why should his rifle be stolen?

We all should do the right thing the right way. He should have been made to face justice; tried in the court of law for killing a civilian.


In a sane country, that scenario can never happen.


Have we bothered to ask ourselves the question "what was he doing on the road when he knows that the state is on lock down?"


If he had been patriotic and obedient to the order by the governor, that wouldn't have happened.


There is one thing i know for sure, many would quote me repeating the same question, but just know that the act of the mobs is heinous.


If you are about to ask me about who killed the civilian first, go back to the point i wrote something about the lock down by the governor.


When ever a case like this happens, we don't look at who first did to who, but what transpired from the start which later led to the crime.


NOTE: A military man welding a gun who is on duty can never shot an innocent person knowingly, not unless he had been provoked , threatened, or about to be killed.


Imagine a soldier man on duty, fully armed. A man from nowhere gains entrance into a restricted area which is prohibited. He enters and the soldier man tells he to go out, he keeps coming closer to disarm the soldier man. What do you think the soldier man should do?

Or, if you were the soldier man, what would you have done?


The guy that had been shot would even criticise their action wherever he is because that wasn't justice to him.

He should have been tried in a court, sentenced and made to pay dearly for his crime. Whenever he sleeps, he is being taunted by the evil he has done, there he learns his lessons.
