The Igboman never gives up. Every challenging situation is an opportunity for him to finding solutions and cashing out. Their ingenuity is second to none in Africa. Just as the Biafran war was an opportunity for them to express their inborn inventive skills through the weapons they developed indigenously, the military era became an opportunity for them to offer Nigerians alternative and cheaper products, which was popularly known Aba Made.

The quality may be in doubt, but give it to them, they always make effort to improve their situation, while others spend their time complaining about their situation without any effort.

This is unnecessary.

The products would sure be sanitized in an autoclave before been shipped out. I think it's standard practice.
well, you never can tell if it'll be sanitized before sale. But it's a very good job done by the Aba people. Kudos to Nigerians

Nice ideal, nice concept, but the guys ought to be using facial mask and hand gloves too. Cos what’s if he has the virus , won’t he spread it by touching the masks with his bear hands or sneezing on it?

There's no reason why we can't manufacture the highly demanded ventilators in Nigeria. Our brothers in the east can fabricate it given the right support by the government.

Good job Aba people.
I think they should wear gloves to minimize contamination.

Those guys need encouragement and the right level of quality control. That said, their products need to be of high standard. If not, people will continue to prefer foreign made goods as they will not settle for sub standard products all in the name of patriotism. Rome was not built in a day but we should learn to produce high quality goods. This will build trust over time.

Much as I admire your ingenuity note that the white filter on a face mask acts as a sponge, catching and soaking up particles in the air.
As well as dirts in the hands of that person placing his fingers on it as he sews it in that picture. He needs to at least wear gloves while making it.
they don't necessarily have to wear gloves. Washing d hands and sanitising it is OK. I watched a video of how it's being produced in China and they were not putting on gloves and no comment but as long as its Nigeria we must fault it

Aba Amaka 101 code for you guys them keep helping Nigerian but Nigerian keep disrespecting them

WHY?

Why? It's because they sell their things at a cheap rate. Nigerians hate cheap things. I like how these people who disrespect Made In Nigeria products can't afford Innoson motor because it's not cheap.

The average Nigerian likes expensive things because it makes them feel better. For someone like me, I have learned my lesson — I don't sell anything I produce cheaply to Nigerian. I can sell cheaply to a foreigner, but to a Nigerian, I increase the price. That is what Aba people need to do.

The worst thing is: when you increase the price, these same Nigerians will complain that they need it, but it's expensive. When you reduce it, they'll abandon you and look for a foreign product that is more expensive.

Nigerians have the potential to produce our own goods but the mentality in us, we value foreign good to our own.

Just imagine he is already infected and those masks are distributed within the next 6–12 hours and people begin wearing them immediately.

Chai! It is finished. Mass distribution.

There is nothing so NASA scientific about making a face mask. Just that our elites are the problem. They just don't believe in the country anymore.

Imagine something one small Chinese man will be producing in one corner of his house with his wife and two children as manager. But as long as the tag read "China import". We will be fine. It's a psych problem. Sometimes politics. Sometime human nature of envy.

Imagine innoSan is making vehicles while some are busy fighting him. Pioneer as far this country is concern. Yet they are fighting him.
