I'm a certified engineer,been working in the industry quite for sometime now and did i also mention i got a lovely boss? Boom!! He's a real boss that i look up to because he does his things professionally and always on time. Things were booming...from luxury apartment to International conferences/meetings,Seeking/Sealing Contracts,flying international and local is like writing a memo in my own book (let me stop there to hide my identity),Lets say I am the face of the company,I represent my boss (MD) @ any crucial meeting at any given time & the company also take good care of her staff.

After some years,trouble started knocking.....things got so bad that my boss couldn't pay salaries to her workers for months,we lost several bids
to contracts and the ones we were able to secured got revoked.
I asked myself these questions:"How will i fund my Solomon grundy's lifestyle?? if this company should go oblivion..where and how do i start"?
I have many uncompleted project at hand.

I can't be moving around with my CV up and down' (i said to myself)...I'm mama's boy...from Nursery to primary..boarding to private Uni and overseas et al.
But Mum is getting older & her connections seems fading while dad is late already(love you both)..hmmmm....depression takes in...started thinking everyday till my wife got noticed and asked me whats up honey? just tell whatever it is....I Summoned courage to explained all the crisis weve been going through lately and she comfort me with her words....'everything is gonna be fine'.

I shook it offfffffff....back to business but..........................


Troubles upon troubles keeps coming back to our company,to cut the story shot..my company landed in Court over a dispute...Chai!! they've sued my boss!!

winch kain wahala be this ? maybe i should just resign??i gave it a second thought...NO,he has been good to me from day one...why should i leave him in his trying times like this? Little did I realize these were mere breeze as the real storm is just around the corner.

There was this friend of mine i reconnected with in Jabi (Abuja),we used to roll back then in school(5&6),we went to one bar like that to chill and we started our yannings:

Me:nawah for you oooo...see your face....wetin dey happen? how is life been treating you?

Friend: (with joyful laugh) we thank God...life is good as always...u know now...how is your family too and how is work?

Me: men we dey...i now paused before i continue...men...my oga is having small wahala...this and this & that...even if care is not taken my boss might ended up in jail.

Friend: Ehne?:he replied

Me: yes

Friend: Dont worry Nothing dey happen....

I looked at him shaking my head in dismay

He said he will take my boss and i somewhere that i shouldn't worry...all i have to do is to get the next sitting date for the case by the court.
we exchange numbers...gave him some cash and we parted ways.


after some days i made a call through to my boss and asked for the next sitting date,he gave me the date i said and i will get back at him.
I called my friend right away:

me: how far
friend: i dey anyshow?
me: yes....the date is so so so and so.
Friend: okay...i will call you at night.

Fast forward...We traveled from Abuja to osun state to meet one Baba with my boss and he narrated what transpired and baba assured us that there is no problem that we will have to go and come back again

Note: m just trying to cut it short cuz the case lasted for about 2years...No be beans!!!

After the whole stuff..he was given some concoction to take home eat and all that....Miraculously...He won the case...But we've lost too much even before the case wahala and the company has been in financial crisis but we later downsized.

hmmmm THE WORLD IS CRUEL.

Anyways...We appreciated Baba more after the victory and left.


After like a month...My friend call came in thus:

we arrived at Baba's house....its a duplex sitting on about 600sqm...averagely furnished....Baba is not doing bad, turned one of his upper room into a shrine doing what he believes in (to assist human with his own little inherited knowledge).

we talked and talked on some other issues..for me its like a learning ground at least am getting to know more about African Society and Culture but for BABA...its just pure MARKETING 101
