Lagos – Chief Olabode George, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has donated the sum of N160million in cash and foodstuffs to the needy as part of measures to cushion the effects of the lockdown of the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement by Uthman Shodipe, his Media Adviser, George said the donation cuts across party affiliations.

George also specifically designated N10million to the PDP faithful in Lagos as well as providing financial assistance to other state chapters in the South West and beyond.

The statement reads: “Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George, former National Deputy Chairman of PDP, has donated N160 million in cash and foodstuffs (rice, beans, Indomie noodles) directly to the needy, the poor and the less privileged; and all who are ravaged by the scourge of COVID-19, regardless of partisan affiliation".

“Out of the N160 million, he has designated the sum of N10 million to PDP adherents in Lagos state. He is also sending money to the South West and beyond".

"He has also set up a six-man committee headed by Dr Akitoye, Honourable Muiz Dosunmu, Onileere, Honourable Abiola, Dr. Dickson, Rahman Owokoniran to distribute N10million to Lagos PDP.”

Oil is now $20 per barrel and it will still fall more because it was around 70$ in January, If you re a politician and you re reading this, Kindly return all stolen Funds unless you want this country experience the Venezuela brouhaha, Please return something We re going down, Before you say Nigeria exports Bonny Light and not WTI and it’s between $20 to $27 dollars per barrel this week , Ask your self is it the same price as it was in 2015? And once we have no money we will be forced to print more and the Naira is devalued and finally we buy a bread with 100 packs of Naira notes.

Useless ex-convict. So, Lagos State government should be asking COVID-19 patients for APC Party Membership Card before treating them. Anyone who is not a Card carrying member should be sent to Bode George for treatment by Babalawo and herbs sellers.

Very commendable, but I think he should just chatter a big container, load it with stuffs, then starts going from house to house sharing it with his associates.

Donating the money is going somewhere it could be looted .
