I'm trying to give myself a thick skin cuz i have tantrums and panic attacks over anything any one does to me. It affects my life negatively.

I started to think that, unless you give them the chance, give them 'face' or attention, they won't be able to do it to you. If you are able to harden yourself and treat them averagely, they tend to lose all those devilish attitudes. So you applied that method and I'm glad it works for you too.
