sammyj: Oga leave that Demand and Supply rules its not the only thing involve in Building a Business empire . Market Survey and long term viability study is crucial . Ventilator High Demand is temporary because definitely this corona virus will be over in 3- 6 month at most so demand for Ventilator will crumble you cannot take risk worth Billions with such market unless you are not a Business man ofcourse So the rule is simple if Nigeria Govt seriously want Ventilator then pay it will be mass produce and distribute to every isolation centre in Nigeria Nigeria Military have place many order for Military Vehicle and it was produced its not like Innoson specialize in Producing Military Vehicle it can be done only on special order

One of the first things smart industrialists/producers/investors do before production is to first identify the condummers (markets) of their products . It's Innoson's responsibility to first identify the market. Are ventilators only used to manage COVID-19 patients? The answer is NO. Will their be demand for ventilators after the pandemic? The answer is YES Whiteangel1234: 1 Like |

Because there is an unexpected surge in the numbers of people needing the ventilators beyond what is presently available in the US. However in Nigeria, there is none being produced locally, why not seize the opportunity to become the sole manufacturer of ventilators in Nigeria, which can also be exported to other African Countries? Whiteangel1234: I’m no longer against you guys argument. However, instead of waiting for the FG to provide N4b to Innoson for the ventilators, we can as well encourage the five south east governors to contribute N800m each for the production. Once Innoson delivers on the ventilators, they will be used in hospitals all over the south east. Pessimistic minds like us will be charged through our noses if we ever need to use them in your region. That’s a better proposition, don’t you think? 3 Likes |

This is another foolish suggestion from a dead brain igbo reasoning out of pathetic bigotry and acute foolishness. How many people claim they can build refinery n how many built or are building. Why should govt give innoson money to build what he will make profit from ? Will dead brain foolish igbo that litter NL be excited if the FG provide such financing to the car companies in Kaduna or the SW without your bigoted father grandfather n dead fathers n forefathers wail us to death over n over again? It will not be beta for whoever or whatever gave you pathetic imagination that your tribe can not accept as a possibility for what the Nigeria government should adopt. LibertyRep: 2 Likes |

iammo: This is a big lie. Dangote is already constructing an underwater pipeline that will supply crude from the Niger Delta to his refinery. he intends to buy and ship crude from who ever is selling that's why he never bothered to run cheaper pipe to Niger Delta but built a port .. Look at the foolishness in this post. How can sourcing crude with forex from overseas be cheaper. Does that not replace the same import imbroglio his refinery is meant to address. Dangote is a third generation billionaire, his fourth ancestors tilled the land for groundnut, calling a 4th generation rich man dependant on government is shameful Dangote's maternal grandfather was nothing short of a plantation manager. All those groundnut pyramids they used to boast of was from slave plantations (google : Rinji plantation) Yaribanza spewing lies as usual |

Whiteangel1234:Thrash talk. Dangote can refine crude oil from any client in the world, not just Nigerian crude. Even without Nigerian crude oil from government or private sector, dangote can receive crude oil ships from anywhere. Don't Nigeria refine most of its crude oil at refineries abroad? So far is rate is competitive, companies and organizations across the world will be sending crude to his refinery to refine. If it was about Nigeria crude alone, dangote would have bid and probably used back door to buy an oil well here. Innoson should innovate his services, and make his prices competitive because he's a big player now, and big players play on the world stage. Why is that company always trying to blackmail the government for some kind of monopolistic advantages? Why is he always hiding under government shadow for government money alone? Must the government be his only customer for everything he produces? Or is it because he wants to make billions in a day and getting govt contract is an easy way for him to land big money. Abeg, he's not the only manufacturer in Nigeria, he shul let us hear word. That's why I love Cosmas Maduka Coscharis so much, he doesn't need social media PR to arm twist govt to buy his products all the time. He just gives and makes the best available. Na government sef go come dey rush am for business deals |

Upworkwriter007: Dantata was nicknamed that name over his closeness to a slave who nursed him (Tata). Dantata was heavily involved in agriculture farming. He made his money from produce from his many slave plantations and from other plantations in the feudal north. He was the largest depositor of First Bank when it opened in Nigeria. He made a deposit of 30 camel loads of silver. How you think he got so rich. He is descended from a lineage of Fulani jihadist and slavers. Slavery only got abolished in the north as late as 1938. Google it. |

A quark (/kwɔːrk, kwɑːrk/) is a type of elementary particle and a fundamental constituent of matter. Quarks combine to form composite particles called hadrons, the most stable of which are protons and neutrons, the components of atomic nuclei.[1] Due to a phenomenon known as color confinement, quarks are never directly observed or found in isolation; they can be found only within hadrons, which include baryons (such as protons and neutrons) and mesons.[2][3] For this reason, much of what is known about quarks has been drawn from observations of hadrons. Quark Three colored balls (symbolizing quarks) connected pairwise by springs (symbolizing gluons), all inside a gray circle (symbolizing a proton). The colors of the balls are red, green, and blue, to parallel each quark's color charge. The red and blue balls are labeled "u" (for "up" quark) and the green one is labeled "d" (for "down" quark). A proton is composed of two up quarks, one down quark, and the gluons that mediate the forces "binding" them together. The color assignment of individual quarks is arbitrary, but all three colors must be present. Composition Elementary particle Statistics Fermionic Generation 1st, 2nd, 3rd Interactions Electromagnetism, gravitation, strong, weak Symbol q Antiparticle Antiquark ( q ) Theorized Murray Gell-Mann (1964) George Zweig (1964) Discovered SLAC (c. 1968) Types 6 (up, down, strange, charm, bottom, and top) Electric charge +2⁄3 e, −1⁄3 e Color charge Yes Spin 1⁄2 Baryon number 1⁄3 Quarks have various intrinsic properties, including electric charge, mass, color charge, and spin. They are the only elementary particles in the Standard Model of particle physics to experience all four fundamental interactions, also known as fundamental forces (electromagnetism, gravitation, strong interaction, and weak interaction), as well as the only known particles whose electric charges are not integer multiples of the elementary charge. There are six types, known as flavors, of quarks: up, down, strange, charm, bottom, and top.[4] Up and down quarks have the lowest masses of all quarks. The heavier quarks rapidly change into up and down quarks through a process of particle decay: the transformation from a higher mass state to a lower mass state. Because of this, up and down quarks are generally stable and the most common in the universe, whereas strange, charm, bottom, and top quarks can only be produced in high energy collisions (such as those involving cosmic rays and in particle accelerators). For every quark flavor there is a corresponding type of antiparticle, known as an antiquark, that differs from the quark only in that some of its properties (such as the electric charge) have equal magnitude but opposite sign. |

There was demand for it already but the number of patients respiratory failures are not as much as during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's just like asking if there was demand for facemasks in Nigieria before the COVID-19 pandemic. Face masks, gloves and ventilators are regular hospital equipments in use long before the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ordinarily, every Tertiary Hospital in Nigeria should have 2-3 ventilators. Before the pandemic, an average ventilator was about #3 million. CSTR2: |

Whiteangel1234: 1. Oil is an international commodity, he can but his oil from anywhere at the same prices, he doesn't need any oil from Nigeria to run his refinery. 2. Dangote produces his own oil from the assets he bought from Royal Dutch Shell Plc. 3. Dangote doesn't need any assurance from the FG before investing in anything, it's all about the market you are targeting and the laws of supply and demand. 4. It is not by force for Innoson to make respirators, he's free to continue assembling his cars and selling to the government like he's been doing instead of marketing and selling to the larger consumer market. 5. Businesses with conscience and a sense of social responsibilities are already spending their own money to order ventilators from China, they re not waiting or begging for anything before doing their patriotic best to help Nigeria. He can make the respirators and give it to the FG free of charge as part of his own social responsibility or keep quiet and stop the hostage-taking noise about respirators, it is not by force. |

After that GTB drama, no one will lend innoson money. He is simply too dodgy. The federal government is his biggest customer. A serious partner would find a way to accommodate such a partner instead of wailing for loans. Are 3m and co asking the government for money? If he produces world class's ventilators, Andrew cuomo will call him immediately. The guy should sing this story to someone else. We have seen pictures of his mostly manual factory, so he should tell that story to someone else |

[quote author=iammo post=88079581] Dangote built his refinery to function without Niger Delta oil, he intentionally went far off Niger delta because of silly talks like this.. he co sponsored Lagos to build a jetty/port at ibeju lekki free trade zone to cut Nigerian off his business, he intends to buy and ship crude from who ever is selling that's why he never bothered to run cheaper pipe to Niger Delta but built a port .. Dangote is a third generation billionaire, his fourth ancestors tilled the land for groundnut, calling a 4th generation rich man dependant on government is shameful Innosun is a greedy fool(unlike Allen Onyeama of airpeace) , and he has being that way since.. if he wants to produce let him produce, ibo land has only 4 ventilators all thanks to Dave Umahi (God bless him), no manufacturer ask for permission to produce except his business model revolves around milking governments, its a great shame seeing how Ibo so called Audio ...the hate u have 4 igbos can not be quantify |
