Unfortunately but truthful
There are no other industries in Nigeria
Every other is either supporting the oil and gas industry or a fall out of crumbs from this industry
its really sad. You would think that in this day and age the highest earning companies in Nigeria would be technology companies like in other advanced countries. Nigeria is still living in the Stone Age.

I quite agree with your second paragraph. Gamblers rush into it with gambling mentality and when they are blown away they cry it's fraud. Unfortunately 98% in the industry are gamblers. And 90% of the gamblers are scammers parading demo account.

Fake news!

Highest paying wages are in Federal Government agencies. Salary appears small, but allowances are never disclosed

People from the North prefer to work in Government than in Oil and gas companies.

Why do you think politicians push their children to Cbn, DPR, NNPC, PPMC, etc etc Than Shell, Agip, etc

That's a nice pay tho, but most of these are for expatriates and the few ones remaining are for the dangerously connected elites, well hope they will be able to maintain these figures with the present oil price crash

Lol.. funny enough, no expatriate receives less than that in a month in an oil field. Actually haven't seen an expatrite that receives less than 2000USD a day.

Absolutely false, get the qualification, apply, pass the 3 - 4 recruitment stages and you will be there earning much more than the OP posted up there.

I have alot of friends who knew nobody, yet got such jobs.

A very good friend of mine , was a staff of total. But this guy resigned his job n migrated to usa with his family. Guess what he is doing there now
An Uber driver.

That's his business and not anyone else. What are his qualifications? Was he a permanent or contract staff at Total? BTW, how is the information wrong? So because your friend who no one knows his profile is doing seemingly below the standard of an ex Total "employee", then people should not believe a fact stated by a website owned by an actual employee in the industry whose qualifications can be seen and verified.

These companies up here hire more than 90% of their staff on merit. They have room for community recruitment which is a very tiny percentage. One thing I'll tell you for a fact is that there'sno government influence or nepotism in their recruitment except for contract staff.
