Skyfornia:It must be people like you who won't educate themselves but instead thrive on dogma and sentiments that are destroying 5G antennas in the places you mentioned. Your type constitute a drag on advancement. You kick against what you don't understand, believe your equally half-educated pastors more than you believe your scientists, yet you have no shame in utilising all the products of technology. In no distant future, when 5G has come into everyday use, you will not come back here to apologise for your sturbon ignorance. Deeper Life people have not come back to tell us what changed about the use of the television. Thank God that ultimately the wheel of progress will continue to roll on despite your noise making. |

Good write up, only one problem. Non-ionizing radiation also has some acute effects resulting from over-exposure. Infra-red, visible light, microwave, radiowaves(e.g 5G), etc are all non-ionizing but exposure to high doses could lead to internal heating, dermatitis, skin rashes, hair loss, infertility etc. So my point is, weather Ionizing or Non-ionizing, there are acute effects from exposure to high doses. 2 Likes 1 Share |

mrphysics: You only spoke on the Physics point. The aspect you know nothing about is the biochemical effects. EMF is not friendly to protein. I would have taken this write up serious if he had even ACKNOWLEDGED the effects of radio waves on human health. Even elementary physics exposed the effects of EMF and RF or RW on human health. It may not be CORONAVIRUS per se, but it's autoimmune effects. Let's look at there are a lot of contrary study published in recent years. Most of them concerned about evidence of biochemical or cellular effects of electromagnetic fields. Marino and Becker have shown that static or very low-frequency electromagnetic fields may lead to biological effects associated with redistribution of ions. Furthermore, many studies demonstrated that biological effects of low-frequency magnetic fields may penetrate into deeper tissues. Foletti et al. showed that ELF-EMF may have an effect on several cellular functions such as cell proliferation and differentiation, which was followed by many other researchers such as Tian et al. who showed its effect on apoptosis, Takahashi et al. OTHER STUDIES ON IT'S EFFECTS ON HEALTH. High EMF was implicated in many health hazards. On DNA synthesis, Goodman et al. on RNA transcription, Goodman and Henderson on protein expression, Zrimec et al. on ATP synthesis, Paksy et al. on hormone production, Kula et al. on antioxidant enyzme systems, Milani et al. on metabolic activity, and Wolf et al. on NFkB and cell destruction. Giladi et al. demonstrated that EMF of intermediate frequency was effective in arresting the growth of cells. Kirson et al. indicated that this direct inhibitory effect on cell growth can be used for therapeutic purposes in the treatment of cancer. EMF of very high frequency (like 5G) has thermal and non-thermal effects on the biological systems. This thermogenic effect is mainly associated with the intensity of EMF, which is expressed as specific absorption rate (SAR). *Thermal effect or increased temperature lead to various changes in the cellular functions, which may result in cell destruction. * Morrissey et al. showed that biological effects may occur even at very small temperature changes in in-vitro experimental models. There are many papers showing that a weak EMF (NOT 5G) has no significant effect on biological systems. 2 Likes 1 Share |

NairaMaster1: I have studied the effects of radiation on cells, DNA, and the creation of radicals of ions whose life times are so small and can cause mutation. However, these are ionizing radiations. Well, like I said, EMF of the order of 5 Ghz can not ionize the body, it does not posses enough energy to rip off electrons on DNAs. It can only cause vibrations or heating which is so insignificant that it may never be noticed. All those tests of course would show you such possibilities on cells at a very nano or pico level. Have you heard about Cohort Studies? It is a life span study on survivors of Hiroshima Nagazaki bomb blast. We have that only 2% of those who have died died of cancer related issues. This is after 50 years. Most of the survivors are still living. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I'm not a fan of broadcast messages, a friend sent me a broadcast message of a Yoruba man, I think about 24mins. When I clicked play and heard d man saying 5G is the cause of COVID-19 I quickly stopped it and called my friend. First question I asked her is, we don't have 5G in Nigeria yet we have the virus. Secondly I asked, y is it that the virus is selecting ppl it wants to kill and other ppl survive. Thirdly, if it's 5G that is killing ppl, y is it that 5G masks installed in a locality hasn't finished everybody there?. See I don't know why human beings don't do research b4 concluding especially blacks(Sorry about this statement). We are still the ones that will be begging for a fast network web the coronavirus issue goes away. Anyways we all have our different opinions, but as for me, I tell ppl broadcast messages cause death faster than the disease itself 1 Like |

NairaMaster1:/ MrPhysics probably read a Physics textbook written in 1973 that he checked out in University of Ibadan's library. I won't put it beyond Nigerian professors to be teaching from the notes they prepared in 60s. We can learn to excuse his half-baked education...not entirely his fault. Human Physiology is too extensive to be explained only with its relationship with non-biological science like Physics. \ 1 Like |

Mr physics, don't assume that you know everything about physics, there is more that meets the eye. Inasmuch as I respect your innocent explanation, there is a deep mystery and spirituality(negative or positive)that surrounds everything we know that exists physically and what we can term secular. |

Agboriotejoye:I am going to be giving different perspectives to this as it involves a lot of basic background knowledge. Think about this for a minute; in some food processing industries, ionizing radiation is used to sterilize food items like fruits and vegetables before they are packed to be sold. They do this kill microbes and other harmful organisms. Now, how would virus survive in an ionizing radiation source even if 5G was to be ionizing source of radiation? Won’t the virus die from interaction with this source of radiation? 5G network technology is not an ionizing radiation source. We know radio frequency do not have relatively very short wavelength as ionizing radiation source such as gamma ray or X-ray. They might be all electromagnetic waves but their ionizing potential is different. He even went further to explain the bio radiation effect of ionizing radiation as it relates to humans. Pay close attention to his use of the word deterministic and sotatistic effect due to threshold difference during the interaction. It would look like what people are worried about now is the deterministic effect of 5G network; if there is even anything like. I mentioned this because of the time span so far between the introduction of 5G and the coronavirus. The time is too short for it to be considered a sotatistic effect. Even with that, the science of it does not support that assumption. A certain threshold must be reached in order to observe any Deterministic effect of radiation on any human tissue. In this case, 5G technology being a non ionizing radiation source cannot get to such harmful threshold. |

You see when a man of God who have had 30+ years spiritual experience go to a physics challenge exam with an ND student in Physics he will be disgraced. That's what is playing out with some of our religious leaders who leave Spritual matters and start dabbling in the field of Science. 1 Like |

joshjc:I really did not want to expose the unnecessary religious hatred I've been reading since but I need to correct your wrong claim that religious leaders are against breakthrough in science. Most people ignorantly think that the opposite of religion is science. Early founding fathers of science were actually religious people. Logical thought patterns of the medieval Scholastic philosophers of the Church led to challenges to the received wisdom about nature from Aristotelian dogma. There was an industrial revolution thanks to the development of water and wind power and superior agriculture that supported a population boom. Many scientists of this period were clergymen in good standing. This period also saw the basic ideas of the geokinetic universe and thought-challenges to absolute geocentrism. The cathedrals were also used as gigantic solar observatories, called meridiane, and the research which the Church supported later lent support to the developing Keplerian astronomy. https://creation.com/scientists-of-the-past-who-believed-in-a-creator Sir Isaac Newton wrote more religious books than scientific materials, Michael Faraday was a church elder, Tesla, Pascal, Pastuer, Boyle, Joule, Maxwell, the list is just many.
