A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
As soon as Innoson established itself as a known automobile manufacturing brand in Africa with huge market base, they should venture into the aviation industry for the building of planes. The market for air travel in Africa is very bright.

The success of Innoson has absolutely nothing to do with Nigerian regime. The company is breaking bounds due to determination and duggedness of Innoson.
Was it not this regime that ordered brand new foreign cars for National Assembly members?
ONE NIGERIA IS DEAD.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT TO INNOSON MOTORS (OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED),BUT I WILL ALWAYS PREFER TO OWN A TOYOTA CAR TO OWNING A SOMEWHAT SIMILAR RIDE FROM INNOSON. THE COMPANY IS DOING WELL AND SHOULD KEEP IT UP. THEIR PRICES DOESN’T SEEM SUFFICIENTLY ATTRACTIVE THOUGH, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT NO IMPORT DUTIES ARE IMPOSED ON THEIR VEHICLES.
EVERYBODY IS ENTITLED TO HIS CHOICE, SO NO ONE SHOULD IMPOSE INNOSON ON ME. THERE ARE ALSO SOME FOREIGN BRANDS I DO NOT LIKE ONE BIT. FOR EXAMPLE I DISLIKE TATA, SUZUKI, BYD, AMONGST MANY OTHERS.

Hmmm. So some guys would run their mouths here on Nairaland saying Innoson only assemble cars not a manufacturer.

Look at those guys welding the cars from scratch. Thumbs up to the car manufacturing company, INNOSON.

But welding not fabrication is part of assembling, abi im wrong?

Portfolio manufacturer grin

Even Obingo, Ugwuanyi, Ikpeazu and the likes can't purchase those mobile coffins. Just look at a 21st Century auto assembly plant.

If this man wants to help his business he needs to allow others come on board with funds to expand the assembly plant.

From the pictures I have seen, the assembly process is not even semi automated. The reason why they assemble perhaps a vehicle a day.

Also the reason why we don't see so many of the vehicles on the road.

I also want to fault his business model. I don't expect him at this stage to be producing so many different models; Jeeps, buses, fire trucks, pick up etc.

A good business model would focus of two or at most three brands that will drive sales two of which must be salon cars.

And over time the company would have built expertise in these two three popular model even fabricating every part locally.

He seems only interested in making cars for the rich.

Much as I wish he would go further, it seems like Eddy Bongos of the eighties this company wont fly. Over time, it may just crash.

Show us how their sheets are formed for all parts and their crash test site.

Oga, even the well known brands of vehicles do not make all the parts by themselves. They buy some from other companies and assemble

Some times it doesn't work the way you are thinking it, trust me.

It works like that 95% of the time.
All these guys donating here and there why do you think they are donating to the Relief fund, why is dangote donating, Otedola, Jim Ovia, Tony Elumelu et al?
Sure it can be for humanitarian purposes alone, most of them are not doing it for charity, sweet heart it's for goodwill.
Times like these are when businesses chase clout and build goodwill, rather Innoson my Anambra brother is creating unnecessary enemies.
If he had just built just one ventilator and donated it to a Federal Hospital, he would have been cashing out on that goodwill alone.
His advisers are not doing well.

Don't you get?.. the Innoson is an illiterate

It's only in Nigeria, any individual with money can delve into anything and everybody keeps quiet.

Soon he will start assembling airplanes for Onyema of airpeace.

Nonsense and ingredients

My brother plane is another dimension o.... You can't assembly one as easily as a car.. even the almighty Boeing have technical issues resulting in loss of lifes recently.... Let them continue with the minor assemblage and expand to production of tyres and other accessories

I think he needs to work more on his marketing, relying on government patronage or some ethnic consideration(If any) won't grow the business.

He actually needs more encouragement and proper target market analyzed, then go all out.
Imagine if all banks purchase from this man?
